As I pull up to the hospital the next morning, before getting out I stop and take an unneeded deep breath. I pull the door open and grab my purse off of the passenger side seat and stand up out of the car on an overcast day. as I start to walk I notice a car from the corner of my eye it catches my attention for some reason, a reason that a can't quite put my finger on.
I shake off the feeling and walk into the hospital's front door. As I walk into the chief's office he welcomes me as Dr. Alex "anna" Quinn. after the hellos and him giving me my new white coat. he leads me out of the room and shows me to my office, leaves me with my thoughts. 15 minutes later a blonde man walked in no biggie tell I realize that he has no heartbeat, looks like a Greek god, and like mine his eyes, well there golden. he looks at me and we both freeze
"doctor." I say breaking us out of our staring contest "Hello," I say "hello to you too. Doctor?" he responds "doctor Quinn, but please call me Alexandra or Alex, and you are?" "Carlisle Cullen, its a pleasure to meet you, darling." "You too, Doctor," I say as he leaves my office and he leaves my office without a word uttered about our... condition.
After Work
as slide off my white coat and replace it with my blazer and put it on the coat rack and grab my purse. my office door opens dr. cullen walks in opens his mouth and says "my wife and I would like to invite you to our home with my children and my sons human girlfriend." he says the word human very low too low for human ears " I would love to"after that he gives me instructions and stops midway to say just to follow him there. after I grab my laptop and shove it in my purse and follow him out of the hospital doors
Skip Drive
as we pull up to magnificent 3 stories and see 6 people standing on the stairway. I see 6 beautiful vampires and 1 human as Carlisle stops his car he speeds over to mine and a woman with caramel colored hair walks down the stairs at a more human speed once she approaches she pulls me in to a hug and once she pulls away she says with a smile "Hello my name is Esme."
