the morning sun shun through the window of my bedroom. traffic, people shuffling from outside was the only noise. music to my ears

i stretch my tried body and yawn. i sit up and brush down my blush silk pajamas. i drape my legs from the side of my bed and slid on my furry slides.

i walk to the window and look at the beautiful sky that was a sheet of pink and orange. the sunrise was still happening; but you couldn't really tell due to the skyscrapers mostly blocking the view.

i grab a towel and walk to the shower. after my warm bath, i pick out basic clothes for the days work. a white polo and black jeans. i tie my hair up in a high ponytail and apply light makeup.

i get my apron that lauren gave me yesterday and put it on. i smile at myself in the mirror in approval and walk down to the cafe.

it was silent. there was only hayden. he was unstacking the chairs from the tables. "um hey." i said walking towards him.

he was wearing sweats and a hoodie. his brown curly hair peeked out of his partially covered head. "hi." he bluntly said. "you don't like me. i can tell." i sighed sitting in one of the chairs. "i- never mind." hayden said not making eye contact with me.

"no no, i get it. you just don't like me for no reason." i said. i turned around dramatically and walked to the kitchen. "BOO!" a voice scared me. i screamed and fell on the floor.

a figure came rushing in the door. "i heard screaming." hayden said. he looked down at me. "oh." he said. i stood up and brushed away the dust from my clothes. "gee thanks for the help." i said with pure sarcasm.

i hear laughter coming from behind the kitchen counter. johnny, kenzie and lauren were laughing so hard they could barely keep on their feet.

"you should've see your face!" kenzie struggled to get out from her mouth. "haha." i rolled my eyes. "come on, don't be such a wet blanket." johnny said walking up to me and resting his arm on my shoulder.

"whatever. is the place ready for opening?" i asked. "i believe so. laur, can you change the sign to open?" johnny asked. lauren nodded and walked out of the kitchen.

i noticed kenzie had on her sliver locket again. i'll ask her in private what's in it. "um, i'm gonna make the bakes for today." hayden mumbled walking to the cabinets.

kenzie and john walked out to the front. leaving me and hayden in the kitchen. i sat on the stool watching hayden do stuff. i'm curious about him.

"is this what you do daily?" i ask. he looked at me. "okay, julianna i'm going to put this straight. stay out of my way and i'll stay out of yours." hayden said.

why doesn't she understand?! i don't like her! "uh okay. i'll be up front." julianna said. she walked out the kitchen. i sighed and continued my baking.
...
it's finally time for a break. how am i suppose to take my revenge on her blood? well, to be honest i don't want revenge. my dad did. and i'll do anything for my dad.

but killing? that's out of the category. i'll just have to think over it.
