you must be wondering, why did you just save annie's life if you don't like her? well, i wasn't just going to stand there watching her get violated!
i was just casually walking when i happened to see that. i actually really feel bad for annie. no girl should go though that.
anyways it was just a onetime help. it doesn't change my feelings towards her.
...
it was currently the next morning; we have a break. on sundays the coffee shop is closed. i get ready for the day and leave my curls be.
i sometimes wonder to myself- why do i isolate myself from others? i mean, yeah i've had a tragic past but, why let it ruin the rest of my life? i need to find myself.
i go though my closet till i find my dads chest. i unlock it with the key hey gave me. inside the chest are my dads belongings and pictures of us.
my dad always loved love. he always said love has no boundaries. and that i should do anything for love. i've never actually loved anyone. (besides my family, of course)
and i'm not looking for another distraction anytime soon. i hear a knock on my open door. i turn my attention to see julianna resting on the doorframe. i quickly shut my dads chest and shove it underneath my bed.
"hey." she gently smiled. her eyes shimmered in the daylight. "oh... hi julianna." "call me annie. i don't like, julianna." she said is a disgusted voice.
"i just wanted to say thank you for saving me yesterday. and here, your hoodie." she tossed me my black hoodie that said new york across it in white font.
"thanks." i said. "oh, and i was wondering... if.. um you maybe wanted to grab lunch?" she said rubbing the side of her arm. she was wearing a navy blue romper with a light washed jean jacket. her hair was crumped; complementing her beautiful eyes.
wait
not beautiful. normal brown eyes.
lunch? with her? what am i doing. she's harmless. plus, i can get to know her and see what i can find about her mom. "you know what, sure." i said without a smile. i never smile. kind of like batman.
her faced formed into pure happiness. "great! meet me at the entrance of the coffee shop." she turned around and left.
okay. i can't anymore.
i let out a small smile that fought its way onto my lips. i haven't smiled since... well, forever.
let's see how this ends

important message:
dear my lovely followers,
i just wanted to get the word of cyberbullying out. i am a victim of cyberbullying. on wattpad, i get all the undeserving love from you guys; which i am more then thankful for. this morning i was scrolling through instagram and someone had commented "eww you look like a man fish" on my post. i quickly deleted the message and cried. sometimes i wonder what am i even doing on this world? what my purpose of living? i just wanted you guys to think: before you say something, ever, think about it first. it can break a person in matters of seconds. do you how many people take their lives because of this? if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. thank you.
