Entry Four

Today we move into my house and I'm unsure of how I feel. I don't know what she expects, especially as far as things like sex go. I don't know if she wants to sleep in the same bed or if she expects sex and I don't want to appear overly aggressive.

Sebastian gave me some condoms which he swears by and uses quite often. I doubt I'll be using them anytime soon but it was thoughtful. I feel like something's off about him, ever since the Selection. I can't name it but something is different. One thing that seems peculiar is that he hasn't had as many women as usual and if he has, hasn't bragged about it.

Dinner last night was delightful. I hadn't planned on showing her the tunnels. She was so beautiful and happy, standing in the rain. Happiness is more rare these days, everyone is starting to worry about the growing conflict that no one can seem to solve in the world. Hopefully someone will think of something.

I'm not sure where to go. There aren't any of the other girls from the Selection and I don't know if breakfast is being held in the same room or if it's being held at all. I sigh and walk to my closest, I grab a pair of nude heels that go well with the dress I'm wearing. I walk out of my room and shut the door. I walk down towards the room where breakfast was served, it seems like the best option. I keep walking and play with the bracelet on my wrist, the gems are really alluring, the color always changing. Now the blue is more proncued but there still are darker hints. I can't quite name the color it is, it changes too much.

"'Sup Belle? Just the person I was looking for," Sebastian says and I look up surprised. Sebastian is standing in front of me with a smirk on his face, throwing an apple from hand to hand. He's dressed in a dark blue suit with a white undershirt and matching tie. His brown hair is messy, but styled and his eyes are glittering, in the light there almost are gold hints.

"Hey," I say and stop in front of him. He tosses the apple into the air with his right hand and catches it, throwing it up again. "Wait, why are you looking for me?" I ask and he smiles.

"You don't miss a thing do you?" he asks, almost to himself. "Your presence was requested by Alaric and Eloisa for breakfast and to make a plan before you move into Alaric's house," he explains and throws his arm around my shoulders and leads me to the room where Alaric and Eloisa are.

"Sounds good," I say and walk with him. With the three inch heels I'm wearing, he's probably around five inches taller than me.

"Want it?" Sebastian asks, gesturing with the apple. I smile and shake my head.

"No, thanks. I'm going to wait and see what's for breakfast," I say and he shakes his head.

"Well, shit," he says and I frown.

"What?" I ask and he stares at the apple.

"Now I have to eat it and I don't want to." He says and takes a bite.

"Well, why'd you grab it in the first place if you didn't want to eat it?" I ask and we turn down a hallway.

"I've been told by a few people that I should start eating healthier if I don't want diabetes which I think is shit because look at me." He says and gestures to his muscled frame, I laugh.

"Apples aren't bad," I say and he looks at me incredulously. "See," I say and grab the apple from his hand and take a bite. I take another bite and he stares at me, I hand it back to him just as he opens the door to a room and we walk in. Alaric is sitting at the table writing in a small notebook, Eloisa is getting food from a countertop that has a large array.
