I wake up early, I have to be to the Medical center for the early morning shift. It starts at five and I'm guessing it's around four right now, it's still dark outside. I get dressed and move to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I pull my hair up into a ponytail and walk out of the bathroom, moving to the kitchen where I start making coffee.
I grab a yogurt and a spoon and start eating. A few moments later, the coffee maker starts beeping and I pour myself a mug, adding milk to it. I finish eating and drinking the coffee, I put the dishes in the sink before I walk down the hall to my room and grab my bag.
I turn down the hall and walk towards Alaric's room. I nudge open the door and I can make out the outline of Alaric sleeping. His left arm is curled above his head and his right arm is draped across his side. Rosy is sleeping on his bed too.
I set my bag down on the floor ad walk over to sit on the edge of his bed. He stirs asI place my hand on his chest and I move my hand up to his check.
His gray eyes flutter open and he smiles when he sees me. "Hey," he says, sleepily as he scoots over on the bed, making room for me. I pull my hair to the side and lay down, moving closer to him. His arms wrap around my waist.
"Hey, I have to leave to go to the Medical center," I say and one of his hands traces circles on my back, the other tangles in my hair.
"No, don't leave. It's too early," he says. Alaric buries his face in my neck and I start laughing softly. His lips start lazily trace patterns on my neck and I press closer to him. His lips trace up my neck and along my jaw before he kisses me.
I bring my hands into hair and he pulls me closer, I move so that I'm laying on top of him. His hands stray to my hips and mine tangle in his hair. His lips are soft and the kiss is relentless, it's sweet, passionate and I could drown in it.
I press closer and Alaric's mouth is more hungry, his lips more brutal. My hands move from his hair to his chest and his back. His move up and down my figure, sending sparks through me. Everywhere he's touching is on fire, I can feel every brush of his fingers against my frame.
I feel his hands slide under my blouse and I gasp as his hands travel over my skin. His hands slide over my stomach, slowly moving up my curves. His fingers trail lightly over my back, leaving imprints on my skin.
As his mouth claims mine and I'm helpless, trapped in the kiss. I don't want to do anything except kiss him. I could stay in the kiss forever, it's everything described in romance novels; it's more. Alaric pulls my closer, my chest pressed firmly against his. His lips possess mine in a slow sweet kiss that makes my toes curl.
I hastily pull away and Alaric looks at me. "I have to go," I say and Alaric nods. I'm still straddling him as I fix my blouse, tucking it back into my skirt. I slide off him and move off the bed. I lean over and give Alaric a quick kiss before I grab my backpack and head out the door.
I start walking in the thick humid air, I look up to the sky and I think it's going to rain. The clouds hang low and heavy in the sky, casting a dark shade. I shift my backpack as I walk, I grab the earbuds from Alaric and put them in my ears, playing the music as I walk.
It makes the time go faster as I walk to the Transit. I insert my card and enter the code before I step onto the platform. The Transit comes a few moments later and I step onto it, sitting down.
I step off and start walking towards the Medical center. I look up as I feel something hit my arm, it's starting to rain. My pace quickens as I walk and just as I step inside the Medical center, the raindrops start hurtling down, falling heavy.
Everyone is rushing around and I make my way to the staff lounge, hoping to find Linc. I have all the textbooks with me and I have the notes and tests I took. I push open the door and laughter greets me. Everyone seems to be in a circle laughing at something and I frown, pushing my way through.
