"Where's my son?!" A woman in her mid forties frantically search the room to check up on her child.

And soon after her, came another person who is the splitting image of Naruto.

Kakashi sighed leaning on the wall near the hotel's door and watch as the two parents search for their son.

"Hanare, take them to his room." He ordered the girl who is used to being quiet and just followed his orders ever since.

It's Friday and the end of weekdays are supposed to be all fun and games but here they are stuck in a hotel room baby sitting the Uzumaki heir.

"Thank you." Minato pat Kakashi's shoulder for acknowledging him but the man shake his head.

"It's not me. Someone else save your son's ass." Kakashi said.

Minato only smiled and proceed to follow his wife and they are greeted with a young woman lying on the bed seemingly lacking rest while their son sleeps peacefully beside her.

"My! What is this?" Kushina exclaimed unable to keep her voice down.

The girl instantly push herself up from bed and stood greeting them with a bow. She looks nervous and shy to even look them in the eye.

"I-I'm sorry. It's not like that! H-he just can't sleep..." she bowed again and Kushina walk closer to her and held her hand.

"Thank you for taking care of him." The mother of the blonde boy said sincerely and the sad look on her eye is visible that didn't escape Hinata's watchful one. She just nod and look past the woman to see his father.

Minato smiled and wave his hand at her as he take the chair and slump on it lazily. Finally taking a rest and closing his eyes.

Driving in the middle of the night when someone called emergency especially because of their son is tiresome after a long day at work. His wife can do the talking.

"What's your name?" The red-haired said and usher Hinata to sit on the couch across the room.

"It's Hinata. I'm Hinata, Mrs. Uzumaki." She said quietly.

The older woman smiled, "Where are you from? I know someone with same eye color as you. That eye is not very common nowadays."

The young girl smiled nervously and shake her head, "I'm new here in the city. I came from the province and all members of my family have different eye color except for my mom and I." She lied.

"Really? She must have been a relative to the Hyugas." Kushina said thoughtfully.

The mere mention of their surname caused Hinata to panic but she could not let herself be identified. Not so soon.

Deciding to change the awkward topic, she calmly asked, "How is he? What happened to him?"

"Are you friends with my son?"

Hinata couldn't answer.

No is her answer. But the hopeful look in his mother's eyes is just too hard to reject. She slowly nod her head.

"Good. I guess you have this special effect on him. I don't know what's up but he seem to be quite fond of you." Hinata nod her head, but deep inside, she can't believe what his mother is saying. She and Naruto are enemies. How could that happened?

"He suffers from a sleeping disorder. He's been like that for the past eleven years. He had some medications but the attacks won't stop, his mind kept replaying the traumatic experience he had when he was just ten years old. Can you imagine the hardships a little boy has to go through?" Kushina rub a lone tear that flow down her cheeks. "He lost his favorite person in the world. It's my husband's long time friend, Jiraiya. The events were just too much for him that it burned through his memory and kept replaying over and over hunting him in his sleep and it caused him to lose the will to ever sleep again. His body have grown tired and restless. There were times that we had to send him to hospital and shut him out completely for hours with doctors monitoring him, they would forcefully make him sleep so his body can rest. This time he went to this stupid vacation away from us and he wouldn't go home. Look at what happened because of his carelessness."
