Chapter 7

[Naruto's POV]

"You must be crazy!" Sasuke jump from his seat and hurriedly went to the room where Hinata is currently sleeping.

"I didn't do anything, I promise." I said as I stood behind him.

"One moment you're trying to force her and now you're talking about wanting to get on her good side? How is this going to get you on her good side?" My best friend shake his head and dialed a number on his phone.

"Ino? Why do you have my girlfriend's phone?" Sasuke said irritated.

"What? Where is she? Can you two come here?"

"No! We're not drinking. It's Saturday in the afternoon for fuck's sake."

"So you'll come? Yeah? good. Okay. Take care you two."

I tickle him on his sides and he looked at me upset. "What?" I asked. Why is he being a bitch like a girl?

"I'm helping your sorry ass because you don't know how to be a real man." That hurts.

I sneer at him and pretended to find it funny afterwards but I know that what he said is true. Whatever the reason is, why would I do such a thing for someone especially a girl. Shouldn't we be fair and have an agreement or something? Why should I exert more effort? They all want equality but where is the equal in that?

I walk back to the living room and lay on the couch waiting for another lecture from my best friend but he didn't say anything.

Instead, he sit on the space under my feet and just lay there like an old man. "Geez you seem like my father."

"Maybe because taking care of an idiot is too stressful." He mumbled closing his eyes. "You should make her like you and you're doing it by making yourself likeable."

"I am quite likeable by many." I said confidently.

"Those people are not Hinata, ain't them?" Fine. I lose.

"So, what should I do?" I ask him instead of giving another response.

"Why do you want to get closer anyway?"

"She is just simply amazing... she felt so good even without sexual contact." I mumbled and Sasuke looked at me curiously. "It feels so warm and safe whenever she's around. I can sleep if she's with me."

"Maybe that's just your body acting up to put her in your bed."

I grinned, "Well isn't she in my bed?"

"Idiot."

We stayed like that for an hour, exchanging insults and trying to make a decent conversation once in a while until the bell rings signaling that Ino and Sakura have arrived.

Sasuke get the door and he got himself the prize for opening the damn door as Sakura launches on him seemingly so head over heels and shower him kisses on the cheeks. I really want to gag. What an eyesore, right?

Ino sighed, exactly my reaction to their never ending cheesiness. They should have gotten married already.

"We brought food because I thought that when you guys are alone, there'd be no food to eat." Ino said.
