[Naruto's POV]
Have you ever sat in a car for hours with an awkward atmosphere that makes you uncomfortable and makes you want to just take your life away instead of repeatedly experiencing hell on that one long ride?
Have you sit on the dining table at your home, where you should never be embarrassed because you own the damn thing but you did anyway, you're the one who's shy about being at home instead of the outsider and it takes a toll on your eating performance, given the delicious foods being served.
Have you ever had a wet dream while sleeping beside of the person you just dreamt of? Then you wake up the day after with her already staring at you and it even make things more awkward than it was before.
I didn't have to live like this if I never had the nerve to break the walls that separates us. It's like me, eating the forbidden fruit and Naruto and Hinata thus become aware of their own surrounding after living merrily without knowing a damn thing.
Now we know what's inside our clothes, though I'm a bit ahead of her, I know how she taste from head to toe. Then we crave the inevitable, but then conscience knocks to my door every night. It's like angels are coming to me via dreams, telling me how bad I was and why I should never do that to Hinata, again.
We never should have eaten that forbidden fruit. Ignorance is bliss. Knowing things is more complicated than math.
"I'll be gone for the weekend." Hinata cut me off from my train of thoughts while I am currently pretending to watch the show on tv.
"Hmm?" I replied, partly hoping she'll shy away and then I'll pretend she never said that.
"I said I'll be gone for the weekend." She repeated with a louder voice this time and I snap my attention away from the tv to face her.
"You mean you'll be gone for tomorrow and the day after that and you're just saying it now?" I said, going overly dramatic to stress the words needed to be emphasized.
"We're not really harmonious these days. At least I told you, that's what matters." She said, turning her back already to go to our bed.
Yes. Our bed. That's how far my hospitality have reached into welcoming her into my life that I've come to the point of calling 'my' things, ours. And now she's paying me back with a short notice of her being gone for two days, which could only mean that I will probably won't be sleeping that long too.
"You know I need you, right?" Well that went too smooth that I want to take it back.
Hinata looked at me in wonder but decided to stay quiet, silently judging my being by the way she's scanning me from head to toe.
"I'm sorry, it's very important." She said shaking her head.
What's so important? Last time I checked her life is pretty much revolving around me, my friends, and Ichiraku's. Mostly me because I live with the woman, I won that category.
"Where are you off to, then? I can drive you, take me as your personal driver." I suggested and it made her walk back to me, sitting on the couch as well. Is this going to be a long story?
"Who will believe that? Your face is widely-known they'd be surprised if I said that my personal driver is Naruto Uzumaki, and yes, he's demoted." She said, rolling her eyes at me but I only find her cute as she say my whole name.
"Naruto Uzumaki, huh?" I smiled, leaning closer to kiss her but I remembered how awkward we were if it's not for her little bomb a while ago, so I immediately lean away. "Then you can say that you're dating me and I'm guarding you because I don't want you to get into any trouble plus I'm really gonna guard you, I can't share my woman."
