[Hinata's POV]
The days being young and carefree feels like it's finally coming to an end. Though in my case, I have a very short time enjoying youth and freedom as I am now entering a new stage in my life while my friends clearly started way too young.
I can't believe I'm doing it with Naruto. I'm going to become a complete married woman in a few months and I keep being nervous about it.
I'm torn between living my life first before making kids and creating our own family but everyone around us is being pushy and supportive so it feels right and wrong at the same time.
"Are you okay? You're spacing out." Ino said as she put the tray she's holding on the table.
We're currently out for afternoon snack, as Ino would like to call it, before we go to the dress designer so we don't have to keep on 'dieting' to fit our gowns.
I think it's kinda funny but I wouldn't like my tummy sticking out of the dress Hanabi picked for me, it barely covers anything!
Father was furious but he also can't decline her since he lowered his guard by giving her permission to pick for my dress and this is her way of 'rebelling' because he let me marry off so young and she won't have a sister at home anymore.
At least she didn't runaway like I did, so my father can't help but approve of her dress choice.
Hanabi and Ino will be walking with me down the aisle while Sakura refused because she might be giving birth anytime and they don't want to cause a scene. Which I completely understand.
As for Naruto, he is out with Kiba and Sasuke for a three-day "last days being single" bachelor's party that Kiba hosted. I don't even know how Sasuke sneaked out of their house knowing Sakura will throw a fit if he joined them.
"See? You're brooding!" Ino snapped, shaking me to get my attention.
"Oh! Sorry. I just can't help but overthink..." I said and it was a lame excuse.
"Don't we all?" Ino said, smirking at me. "Are you feeling scared now after being all brave about getting married with Naruto?"
"It's not like that... I just feel overwhelmed because I'm not used to being the center of anything." I honestly told her. This whole planning for a wedding thing is crazy and everyone seemed to be looking forward to be with me or Naruto.
"Oh, as if you are not marrying the darling boy of the tabloids! You'll be in for a lot more than this sooner or later." Ino smiled at me, squeezing my hand in reassurance. "You just do what feels right. Always."
I honestly don't know what to tell her but I take her words to heart. We proceed to drink our coffee and eat muffins in between planning for colors and styles.
Ino is even more into this stuff than I do, it seems as though she liked the idea of weddings and I can't help but think that she'll be the only one left of us girls who is unmarried. It's not like she's single but with her personality, she really must be overthinking and feel like she needed to get there soon.
I kept my mouth shut about my opinion because I think I'm in no position to be lecturing her about marriage and stuff. Look at me and Sakura for example. It seems a great story but if she didn't get pregnant nor my father meddling with my life, I don't think both of us would choose marriage at young age. And the fear of Naruto and Sasuke is even more because they are men and men are not exactly happy about losing freedom and stuff as far as I know.
The rest of the day turn out well with Ino by my side to guide me every step of the way. I know they have greater style more than me so I let them choose because that'll be the case later if they don't approve of my appearance, anyway.
