Heartbreak

Camilas POV

I heard the sound of chirping birds outside my window as i open my eyes slowly i could see sunlight flashing through my window. I groaned and stretched but as i did i saw that i was alone in bed. The first thing i thought was, Where is lauren?

I got up quickly as i heard a noise downstairs, pans were clanging and dropping i guess. I slipped into my favorite robe and duck slippers and headed downstairs to see what was going on. I peeked through the kitchen and saw the most beautiful woman ive ever seen. Ofcourse you already know who. Lauren was cooking omelets for the both of us.

I smiled in the doorway as i cleared my throat, catching her attention.

Laurens POV

I got an early headstart this morning so i decided to make breakfast for me and camzi, since her mom went to work early. I saw a bunch of pans and grabbed one carelessly, causing the other pans to drop and clash loudly onto the floor. God i hope she didnt hear that. Im really clumsy, damn.

I cracked a few eggs and mixed them and started making omelets, but as i did, i heard someone clear their throat behind me, and i suddenly heard heaven calling me. "Looks you got a early start, lolo", camila said with her husky morning voice. She ran her fingers through her hair as she came over to me, wrapping her arms around my waist, nuzzling my neck. I shivered at the feeling cause oh god i loved this feeling.

She started giving me small kisses on my neck, causing me to moan softly. She giggled at the sound of it. I was finally finished with cooking breakfast. "Nuh uh cabello, breakfast first", i smirked as i pecked her nose, grabbing two plates for us and then serving the omelets. "Your a tease, jauregui", she stuck out her tongue at me as she sat on the kitchen table. We sat together, ate together, and once we were finished we decided to cuddle on the couch.

We watched a few disney movies, since camz didnt want to watch horror with me. "Babe", i heard camz say in a small voice. "yes babe?", i said in reponse. "my surgery is next week...and i want you to be there with me", she said with a pout. She was too cute! "Ofcourse i will be there, camz. I always will be there for you.", i cupped her face and pecked her lips. "thank you , I love you lolo". she mumbled as she hid her face in my chest, as she was hugging my body. We were cuddling on the couch together and she was on top of me so thats clearly a big yes.

one week later: surgery day

I was at home getting ready for camilas surgery session. I changed into a white top with a black leather jacket over it and black skinny jeans. I got in my car and drove straight to the hospital, i knew camz was already there.

I walked into the hospital and asked what room was the surgery held in, i asked the lady at the desk so she said the room would be room B-18. I walked all the way upstairs to that room but once i got to the hall near it my eyes blurred. Why? I suddenly felt tears streaming down my face. I could feel my heart shatter into millions, no, Billions , of pieces. I looked away, turned around, and ran away.

I couldnt forget what i just saw.
