Heartbreak part 2

Camilas POV

I was at the hospital still waiting for lauren to show up to support me for my surgery today. I was really nervous and also scared for myself. What if i dont mame it? What if i die during surgery? What if...?

I couldnt get my mind off if anything. Suddenly i heard footsteps, i thought they would be lauren but once i turned around it wasnt lauren. It was austin.

Austin was my ex boyfriend as far as i know and we only broke it up because he moved away years ago and now hes back for me.

He walked up to me with a bouquet of roses and a few heart shaped boxes of those fancy chocolate brands. He also carried a large teddy bear between them. He walked up to me with a big smile on his face. "Hey mila" he said with his deep voice.  Wait how did he know i was here? I smiled at him as he finally came over to me, face to face. "hey austin". "look i know you might be wondering why im here. i just heard about your surgery from dinah and i just want to be bere for you. I still love you mila".

I bit my lower lip and fiddled with my fingers. " oh um thank you austin..." He smiled for a while and i seemed to have snapped him out of his thoughts when i cleared my throat. "oh um yeah... these are..for you." he said as he handed me the roses, chocolates, and the teddy bear. I smiled as i said thank you and placed them all in a chair nearby from us.

"Camila i was wondering if we could get back together you know?" he asked shyly as he looked down. "i know i left years ago but i really want to start over. please?". I looked down. "austin im sorry but im already seeing someone an-" "i could do so much better mila", he said as he came in closer, closing the gap inbetween us. I suddenly felt a pair of lips on mine and i suddenly realized he kissed me.

I didnt know i kissed back when i suddenly heard sniffles and im guessing someone nearby was crying. I suddenly opened my eyes to see who it was and the last thing i saw was

Lauren running away.
