Okay so before I get into this rant, I'm just going to give you a brief intro.

Wassup my homies! I go by Tori, and I'm just your average teenage girl. Well maybe, I'm a little above average *flips hair*

⚠WARNING⚠: I'm a full out weirdo. I feel bad for my family because they have to put up with me everyday.

I hope you enjoy these rants and feel free to leave your personal opinion on these topics in the comments :')

Okay, so I've read plenty of rants on bad boys. Plenty of them. Here's another one to add to the bunch.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a sucker for a cliché bad boy story... BUT. You have to do it right, people! Add your own twist or something. I'm tired of the predictable leather jacket wearing, daddy issues having, icy blue eyed, motorcycle driving bad boy.

Who's named some "mysterious" name like

Who's named some "mysterious" name like.... Asher. Or Kade (seen those plenty of times) Or they're named something EXTRA like Angel. Or Dustfinger.

"And there he was in all of his glory.... Mountain Ridge Daniels. The most envied boy in Earwax High."

And why is it that the main girl is always so quick to fall in love with this typical player. If I was the MC, I would definitely let Herbert with the tape around his glasses and the highwater corduroys have a chance with me over Mountain Ridge any day.

"I couldn't help the way my heart skipped a beat as Mountain Ridge poured his orange soda down my shirt. It started to beat even faster as he told me I was worthless and begged me to leave him alone. It was then that I knew... I was in love with him."

NO HUNTY. Just don't. Please don't. THE DOOR 🚪👈🏾

And why is it always in these cliché bad boy stories, the main guy always takes the MC to some clearing in the woods and tells her all his baggage (it usually involves one stray tear falling out of his eye as he tells her his daddy issues) And this typically happens the second they become cordial. Now all of a sudden they're in love and don't know how to tell the other their feelings. BLAH BLAH BLAH. YOU BORE ME. I've read it all before.

 I've read it all before

Don't even get me started on all the drama that happens after the two end up confessing their feelings for each other

Don't even get me started on all the drama that happens after the two end up confessing their feelings for each other. I feel like a lot of authors just do the most because they're not ready to accept that their story is coming to an end.

Like, all of a sudden Mountain Ridge is involved with a gang and he has to break up with the MC by saying he never liked her or some crap like that, therefore breaking her heart.
Somehow she ends up finding out he's in a gang and he only broke her heart to protect her. She falls inlove even more and ends up saving his life from the big, bad gang dudes. BUT WAIT! It DOESN'T stop there! Blah blah blah, more drama.

That's the kind of stuff that makes me want to give up "Bad Boy" stories forever.

Sigh....

Okay, that's it for now. If I type any more I'm afraid I'll explode from fed-upness.
