The Feminist Movement

Oof, dont come for me. Dis one is a little edgy.

I find a lot of things in the feminist movement just plain stupid and unnecessary.

Before I start, Im going to list things I agree with:

-equal pay for men and woman

-woman empowerment

-etc. etc.

Now for the rant about the things i strictly dislike.

1. The No Bra Thing

"If guys dont have to wear bras, why should we?!"

Um. Because guys don't have boobs.

We do.

Guys are straight up Flat Stanley while we have cushion for the pushin.

And because we have BOOBS we should contain them. Just like we need to contain our vee-vee and dudes need to contain their pee-pee.

I DON'T WANT TO SEE THE POKEY POKE OF YOUR NIPPLES!

Im sorry.

I dont.

Now I don't think women should be automatically called a slut or a whore if they choose not to. That is not okay.

But do not throw a hissy fit if your workplace requires you to wear a bra. It should. That's professional.

2. The no shirt thing.

"Guys are allowed to be shirtless in public, why aren't we?"

I shouldn't even have to elaborate.

WEAR A SHIRT.

3. The strength thing

I feel like a lot of feminists just look for something to complain about. I read this one rant from a feminist where they were complaining that a teacher specifically asked the guys to help pick up and rearrange the classroom furniture or something and they were butthurt that she didn't ask the girls.

Um. Did you forget that guys are biologically built stronger than girls?

Because I didn't.

Therefore I don't get my panties in a wad when guys are called to lift heavy things. They're built stronger. Let them lift the heavy thing without you throwing a hissy fit.

It's not that big of a deal.

4. The breadwinner thing

I have no problem with a woman wanting to make money for her family. Do you, boo and slay whilst doing it. I have no problem with the woman being the sole breadwinner, either.

BUT!

I do believe the man should be the head of the household. Not both the man and the woman. But just the man.

Not only  is this scripturally backed up but it just makes sense to me.

Im not saying you should let your spouse walk all over you because he's a dude, but Im just saying...

It shouldn't automatically be labeled sexist for the guy to be the head of the household. He's most likely stronger, and I just feel like naturally guys just have that authority. There's a reason woman take the man's last name and not the man take the female's.

5. My main problem with the feminist movement.

I feel like the feminist movement has become the exact opposite of its name.

Instead of embracing femininity and the empowerment of what a woman should be, it has become women wanting everything the man has. It's kind of ironic.

We want all the privileges a guy has, instead of focusing on the privileges women should have. You know what I mean?

I feel like we've lost sight on what being a women means.

In a way, it's become a masculinist movement.

Instead of protesting to be able to go shirtless in public, something GUYS do, we should put more focus on protesting free sanitary products or something. Stuff that women actually need.

We should focus on becoming the best woman we can be.

Ya feel me?
