Time and time again I have encountered this STUPID frickin-ughhhh.

Her blonde hair cascaded down her shoulders like an effortless waterfall. From her slim, long legs, to her plump, pink pout all the way up to her amazingly perfect winter, blue eyes. She was absolutely beautiful. I envied her very existence.
My ugly, worthless, stupid, doodoo, muddy, stinky, nasty, horrifying, ugly, ugly, flabbergastingly stank brown eyes dulled in comparison to her vibrant blue orbs. Oh, how I wished I looked like her."

I know I'm not the only brown-eyed girl who feels some type of way whenever I read paragraphs like that^^^
Like, why does my eye color have to get pooped on all the time?
Blue eyes aint all that... NO OFFENSE TO MY BLUE-EYED QUEENS OUT THERE! YALL SLAY! Forreal.
Im just saying, in this particular situation... blue eyes aint all that to be stomping all the confidence out of us brown-eyed queens.
Ya feel me? Ya catch my drift? Ya comprehend? Is your boateth getting floateth? Ya riding the wave? Have I lost you?
All I'm saying is... although it may not seem like a big deal. Brown eyes is an insecurity for A LOT of girls. It's not a coincidence that every single eye color change surgery is someone with brown eyes changing it to a different color.
I haven't seen a single surgery video where someone with blue eyes wanted to have brown eyes. Ever. Which is saying a lot about the beauty standard. Here in America, at least.
Which is why Im sick and TIREDDD of the insecure main characters in books who are never confident in their brown eyes. Of course this isn't the case for every single book, Im just saying, Ive come across it a lot and I always end up wanting to slap some sense into characters when they pull crap like that.
Please tell me Im not the only one who feels this wayyyy

My perfectly fine, nothing is wrong with, beautiful, not at all boring brown eyes do not need to be compared to hers.

Much better, she still maintains a level of insecurity without raining on my parade :) yay.
Hopefully you guys dont take this rant the wrong way. In no way, am I coming at or throwing shade to anyone with blue eyes. Its not your fault authors choose to debbie my downer.
Basically, I just want to spit some encouragement to all my brown eyed girls or guys who are reading this.
