Saving Your Friend

You were working in the Dead Pool as usual. It was brutal work but you had to do it to stay alive. You saw Kitanas friend Jade walking across the bridge over the pool, talking about making amends.

"Excuse me, Jade. But what do you mean by making amends?", you asked her. She responded that Kitana had been taken to execution and Shao Kahn had replaced her. You gasped
"Is there any way I can help? Kitana is an old friend of mine when we were back in Edenia. She means a lot to me", you replied with concern.

"Yes. Go find Raiden. We must inform him of this", Jade said with worry.  You nodded and jumped onto the hooks and onto the bridge before heading to the ruins of a village. Only to be ambushed by someone who looked a lot like Kitana, but this one wore pink.
"Who are you?!",  you shouted at her. She only giggled
"You must return with me. There is to be a celebration for my sister. She's going away...", she replied giggling

"Yeah. Permanently!!", you shouted at her before she tried to bite your neck. You grabbed her and threw her off you before engaging in a fist fight. You finally managed to knock her out before lightning showed and you saw who you were looking for.
"Raiden! I don't have much time to explain myself. Kitana is a captive in the Tower and she'll soon be executed in the Koliseum"
The person next to Raiden went wide eyed.
"We must free her, Lord Raiden!", he said with a voice of panic
"Yes Liu Kang. You and Kung Lao follow Y/N to the Tower. And be quick", Raiden ordered. You weren't going to ask how he knew your name because you didn't have much time
The three of you made it to the Tower quickly thanks to you knowing the best shortcuts. You listened to the two of them bickering and ignored them, looking for Kitana. The doors suddenly opened and Sheeva and a black clothed warrior walked in. While Liu Kang and Kung Lao dealt with them, you began trying to find out how to get Kitana before her execution. Goro soon arrived, furious at Liu Kang. You decided now would be a good time to prove how useful you were. You went behind one of the statues and equipped your armor and weapons you'd worked on during your free time

"Never mind Liu Kang. Now you'll face me!", you shouted at Goro and unleashed a barrage of gunfire from your wrist guns. Goro charged at you but you managed to slide under him and stabbed him in the back before stabbing him in the back of his legs.
"Now if your species has any TRUE honour left. Tell us where Kitana is, NOW!" You said to Goro
"She has been taken to the Koliseum, where she has no doubt been executed.",  Goro replied. Liu Kang stomped on his head
"You lie!", he shouted. You placed a hand on his shoulder.
"We may be in time to save her. Let's hurry", you said to him. He nodded and the three of you ran to the Koliseum. You saw Kitana chained up. You and Liu Kang went to free her while Kung Lao went to fight. You managed to get her free before you looked to Kung Lao and saw Shao Kahn snap his neck. You were stood there in shock, while Liu Kang tackled Shao Kahn and engaged in Kombat with him. You checked Kitana, to see if she was hurt.
"Who are you?",  she asked you with a frown. You removed your helmet and she recognised you "Y/N? Is it you?", she asked.  "Yes Kitana. It's me. We'll have time for reunion later on. I promise", you replied as you watched the fight.
During the fight between Liu Kang and Shao Kahn, you were mainly concerned for Liu Kang's safety. When Liu Kang used his flaming fist to punch through Shao Kahn's chest you watched in a mixture of surprise and satisfaction. After the warriors of Outworld took Shao Kahn's body away you headed to Kung Lao's dead body and knelt in mourning for your friend. You looked at Kitana and Liu Kang, sadly nodding. Earthrealm was free, but at a terrible cost. Little did you know Shao Kahn was not actually dead.....
