You stood at the portal which Shao Kahn slowly emerged from. You felt that this was going to be the end, when Raiden and Liu Kang arrived nearby. Raiden went on about allowing Shao Kahn to merge the realms, claiming that since he'd have done it without victory in Mortal Kombat, the Elder Gods would punish him for it. You and Liu Kang disagreed, saying it was preposterous. Liu Kang went to fight Shao Kahn, but Raiden kept trying to stop him. In the end Liu Kang fought Raiden but was defeated. Raiden tried to stop him again, but Liu Kang decided he had enough of Raiden's madness, and attacked him. Raiden accidentally electrocuted Liu Kang. You were shocked and you ran to Liu Kang as he fell.
"What have you done?!", you shouted at Raiden as you held Liu Kang's dying body in your arms
"You....have killed us....all", Liu Kang cursed at Raiden before he finally died
You and Raiden lowered your heads in mourning for your friend. You hated Raiden now, more than ever. Which was another reason why you had deliberately offered Quan Chi your soul for when you die. Shao Kahn stepped through the portal and you rushed at him, only to be knocked back by his dark magic. After Raiden destroyed Shao Kahn, you got up and scowled at him before you walked off. You'd had it with Raiden and his "hope"
