Reunited with Kitana

After abandoning Raiden for what he did, you decided to make some adjustments to your outfit. You repainted the colour of it to black and began looking around for a way to the Netherrealm. Suddenly you heard a screech and looked up to see a Netherrealm demon heading right for you, before you were knocked out. You woke up slowly to find yourself over the demon's shoulder as it flew towards a portal to the Netherrealm. It landed near the Sea of Blood and dropped you in front of Quan Chi. You slowly got up, rubbing your head.
"Ah, Y/N. Nice to see you again", Quan Chi spoke as he helped you up.
"Raiden is no longer someone who ANYONE can trust. Those that do are blinded by false hope. I pledge my allegiance to you and the Brotherhood of Shadow, Quan Chi.", you said before bowing to him. He smiled at you
"Rise Y/N", he ordered. You did so
"So what's our move?", you asked him.
"The Jinsei is the life force of Earthrealm. Once Lord Shinnok manages to fully corrupt it, Earthrealm will be ours", Quan Chi replied with a small laugh. You smiled as well. With the Jinsei fully corrupted, Raiden would not be able to stop the Netherrealm from attacking. However, you had serious doubts about your ability to help in the mission.
"I feel like I should stay at your fortress Quan Chi. I don't want to jeopardise the mission and make things harder than they should be.", you said to him rubbing the back of your head.
"Is that truthfully how much you doubt your abilities?", Quan Chi asked. You nodded
"This would be the first time I'd be alongside the Netherrealm. On an important mission that we may only have one shot at. If I messed up the whole plan, I doubt I could ever be forgiven for ruining it.", you said lowering your head. Quan Chi thought about what you said.
"Very well. Stay in my fortress until we return. Then we can work on improving your abilities in Kombat", he ordered. You nodded and headed to the fortress to wait. While there you decided to adjust your armor and weapons. You modified your helmet to resemble more of a skull and added chrome pieces onto your shoulder armor and gauntlets as well as adding a hood

During your time at the fortress, you were approached by Kitana

"Who are you?!", she demanded your name. Instead of responding, you removed your helmet and her eyes went wide

"Y/N what are you doing here?", she asked shocked.

"Since Raiden is responsible for this whole thing, including your death, I decided to offer my soul to Quan Chi, not only because I hate Raiden and his useless future visions. If he'd just gone along with it, this could all have been avoided. The other reason is to be with those who I fought alongside. You, Liu Kang, Kung Lao especially. Mainly you, the Edenian I fell in love with during our youth", you responded and you swear you saw her blush a little. You smiled at her and she removed her mask and kissed you on the cheek, making you blush. You kissed her cheek and the two of you talked for a while before Quan Chi returned an hour later and you'd finished your armor.

"How did it go, Quan Chi?", you asked. He didn't seem happy

"Raiden got help from Johnny Cage and they've trapped Lord Shinnok in his own amulet and they have it hidden away. I must work on the spells to release him for when we get it back. Leave me to work on them, both of you", he replied. You nodded and bowed to him before you and Kitana left to talk about this alliance on the Krossroads.
