Jinsei Corruption

You, D'Vorah, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kitana, Sindel, Enenra and Shinnok arrived at the Sky Temple. You smirked, this would be so enjoyable. You encountered a fat man drinking alcohol sat nearby. Apparently this was Bo Rai Cho. You saw why Liu Kang and Kung Lao considered him an embarrassment now. Shinnok began pummelling Bo Rai Cho before using his amulet to cause him immeasurable pain. Raiden ran out and the seven of you approached Shinnok and Raiden.

"Yet another of your allies falls to me. When he dies I will claim his soul.", Shinnok said to Raiden with a smile before heading towards the doors to the Jinsei

"You know not his power. His soul cannot be subjugated", Raiden argued. You shook your head. An alcoholic fat man having enough power to avoid his soul being turned? It was just pathetic.

"Shall we kill him, Lord Shinnok?", Liu Kang asked. Shinnok stopped and turned around.

"Not yet. He will bear witness as I conquer his realm. Then I will imprison him as he did me!", Shinnok replied. That made you wonder what it was like to be in that amulet, but you didn't dare ask.

"I wouldn't boast of victory prematurely", Raiden warned. Shinnok laughed

"I have already won Raiden", he replied with a smile. The doors closed and Shinnok headed for the Jinsei. To finish this once and for all. You and the other revenants circled Raiden and began pushing him to anger him. Raiden suddenly kicked Sindel away and began fighting you all. Kitana tried to stab Raiden with her fans but Raiden delivered a powerful shock to her face. This angered you to the point that you attempted to shoot Raiden, but accidentally hit Enenra due to Raiden moving too quickly to get a good shot. Liu Kang then hit Raiden in the face before delivering a bicycle kick to him. Kung Lao then punched Raiden three times in the face before kicking him in the head. You stepped up to Raiden, before you slashed him twice across the chest, stabbed him in the gut then shot him using one of your wrist guns. He landed on his stomach and Liu Kang then jumped on his back. The six of you then began to kick Raiden while he was down. Raiden struggled to get up. Kung Lao then wrapped his arm around Raiden's neck, beginning to strangle him. You cracked your knuckles, ready to deliver more pain. Suddenly Raiden's hands began sparking. Kung Lao jumped to safety but the rest of you weren't so lucky. You managed to shove Kitana out of the way before Raiden slammed his hand down on the ground, unleashing a huge amount of electricity. Kitana watched in horror as you, Sindel, Enenra and Liu Kang screamed out in pain as the electricity coursed through your body before you, Sindel, Liu Kang and Enenra fell down unconscious. It hurt you most of all due to the metal parts of your body armor and your wrist guns. When you woke back up, Raiden had just beaten Liu Kang. You were weakened badly from the shock and couldn't get up. Kitana helped you up, before checking you over. You had a few minor burns on your body due to the electricity and metal parts not reacting well. Luckily the rain helped ease the pain of the burns.

"What were you thinking Y/N?! That was a risky move!", Kitana asked you with anger in her tone. You groaned in pain.

"The more of us who are still active to fight Raiden after he used that power, the quicker we can beat him and corrupt this realm. The sooner it's corrupted, the better.", you replied. Liu Kang walked up, concern in his eyes

"Are you injured badly?", he asked. You shook your head

"A few minor burns. I've had worse than them. I'd better go check if Lord Shinnok has corrupted the Jinsei", you replied and got up. You headed to the Jinsei chamber to see Raiden in a skeleton hand and the Jinsei red instead of its usual blue. Inside was a large demonic being. You realised it was Shinnok. A smile formed on your face. This would be the beginning of the end of a pathetic realm, and the start of a new and stronger realm. With Shinnok leading you, you knew Earthrealms time had come to an end.
