Jack drove the car to the nearest carnival in their area. The trip to there was silent and quiet, no one dared to start a conversation. Jack opened the door and went outside.
'Hey guys, we are here!' Jack shouted.
'What? That took long enough.' Nicole complained.
'This is the best one in our area so I picked this, it is better than the one next to our place.'
'Nice thinking.' Jaay responded.
Jack and Nicole slept the whole trip, despite it being only a 45-minute drive and they just woke up. Nicole was laying in Jaay's shoulder so Jack tried his hardest not to complain.
'So are you guys coming out?'
'Yeah, sure. We will.'
'Better hurry, I'm excited!' Jack faked his excitement so they will get separated already.
'It's so fresh outside.' Jaay said as he opened Nicole's door like a gentleman.
'Yeah, its so fresh. I have to pee though. Where's the bathroom at?' Nicole asked.
'Its outside the entrance, lets go.' Jack said. It was as if he was the third-wheeler but he kept his temper.
Nicole thinking in her head, can't decide who she should be with, knowing that the other person will get their feelings hurt.
'That's the bathroom.' Jack pointed in the bathroom's direction and Nicole rushed to it.
Without Nicole being with them, Jaay and Jack has the chance to talk, face to face.
'Hey, are you trying to flirt with Nicole?' Jack started the conversation.
'Yes, why? You jealous?' Jaay answered and teased, a smirk forming in his face.
'Yes, and for your information, I told my feelings for her earlier than you did, so you better space off pal.'
'Lets just see who she picks. Best me win.'
'Hmph.' Jack breathed and went silent, both of them waiting for Nicole's return. Both of them ran into different directions to try to give Nicole a present from the place.
'Ah, that feels much better.' Nicole went outside to see Jack holding a bouquet of flowers and Jaay holding a human-sized teddy bear.
'Hi Nicole!' Jaay said and tries to offer his gift to Nicole.
'Hey Nicole, roses?' Jack followed after.
'Where did you guys get those? Are you guys okay? What has gotten inti you two?'
'Nothing.' Jaay answered.
'Just giving you a gift, that's all.' Jack said after.
'Aww, thank you so much for these.'
'Say, which one do you like better?' Jaay asked.
'Hmm...' Nicole thinks what to pick and like. 'Both of them, they came from you two, that's a goodie.' she answered, unable to pick.
'Hey Jack, why don't you put these presents in the car?' Jaay tried to ditch Jack.
'What-?' Jack responded but was interrupted.
'Yeah Jack, it will really be bothersome to have these big gifts around in the carnival.' Nicole responded.
'Fine, see you later. Beautiful.' Jack said.
With Jack out of the picture, Jaay can use this as an opportunity to chance on Nicole.
'Hey, you look nice today.' Jaay started the talk.
