Chapter 15 - The Startling Encounter

Jesse and Nicole started walking to their destination, the 'building' later discovered as their school. The place was so dark, without their flashlights, you won't be able to see anything. 

'How many flashlights and batteries did we bring?' Jesse asked, 

'Four flashlights and about a dozen batteries.' Nicole responded. They used the first two on their trip to the male's bathroom. 

'Did you bring the materials that we will need?' Jesse asked once more, 

'Yeah, it is in my backpack.' she responded.

Secretly, Nicole brought the black colored cloth or otherwise known as her black handkerchief with their blood, soaked in it including Jaay's. They went down and up the stairs to find out the bathroom in Jesse's dream. It's just morning so it should've been bright at the windows but surprisingly didn't. Maybe because of the wood that covers it or it's just how it originally was.

They circled the place until they get to their destination, the bathroom. But when they nervously opened the door, it was the wrong one. They tried to find another one and saw a girl's room, which is not what they are supposed to be in. They went everywhere together because splitting up is not the best option in this circumstances. 

'This is it, we're here.' Nicole said, 

'Yeah, Good Luck to us, this might not end well.' Jesse responded. 

'Don't be so negative.' Nicole said and smiled, hiding her fears as they approach the door. Jesse held the doorknob and with one fast circular motion, he opened the door. 

'What is that?!' Nicole whispered to Jesse while covering her mouth to stop more noise to come out.

'I have no idea, but this shows that we are in the right place.' Jesse responded, acting confident. 

'Hello there, this is me, my true form.' the figure inside started talking to them, 

'Who are you? What are you?' Nicole asked. 

'I am the result of the torment and pain that the students here once inflicted.' the figure said and 

'My name is Joy, I was an innocent nice girl who treats people with all due respect and honor. I treated them better than myself.' afterward.

'What happened to you?' Why did you become like this?' Jesse asked, 

'I was bullied and molested by the big guys, too much that they pulled me into this bathroom where they raped, abused and killed me. No one even cared to give me justice, and so thanks to you, I was able to avenge my sufferings. I was able to kill them myself, including the people who knew about the incident.' Joy answered, 

'I am so sorry about what happened to you, we all do.' Nicole said, 

'And that is why you are going to help me kill the last two remaining people who did this to me since I can't travel far distances because of this bind. You just need to remove it for me.' Joy responded.

'Yeah, we will help you, Jesse has relayed the intel to me and I know what I have to do.' Nicole answered, never thinking twice to stop her real intentions. 

'Begin at once.' Joy demanded. 

'Okay, we will.' she responded as they both stepped closer to Joy in the middle of the room. Joy was somehow glowing from the dark but Jesse brought out the large flashlight in Nicole's body and shined it up bright. 

Instead of obeying what Joy ordered, they refused and Nicole grabbed her handkerchief. 

'What are you doing?' Joy asked, 

'Getting you out of your misery.' she responded as she dashed towards her. But, because she is in a state of specter, Nicole just passed through Joy's body. She knew what is wrong, she had to make Joy possess Jesse and when she gets out, rub it against Joy.

'You just made the biggest mistake of your life.' she responded, 

'I will make your friend here suffer for your mistakes, they always say that it hurts more to watch your loved ones get hurt instead of yourself.' Nicole knew that this is an opportunity to defeat her ones and for all, but Jesse will experience torment in the process.

'AAAAH! It's painful! It burns!' Jesse screamed out while panicking. 

'Why? What's wrong with you?' Nicole asked, 

'It's Joy! She is in me while I'm under my mind's control, this is the sensation that you feel when you get possessed while conscious.' he responded. 

'Stop! Please stop! You're hurting him!' Nicole pleaded, 

'I know it hurts, and you must do it now. I will kill him if you won't' Joy stated while inside of Jesse.

 'Get out of him! I will do what I must do!' Nicole shouted and pleaded, 

Joy grabbed a knife on the table while inside of Jesse and hurled it towards Nicole. Jack, who mysteriously was able to catch up with the situation, went inside of the room, and with one swift motion, pushed Nicole down with him as an act to dodge the projectile.

'Jack? Why are you here?' 

'There is no time to explain, all we need is to finish this.'

'You brought friends? This should be fun torturing them until you know what you should do.' Joy stated while still inside of Jesse, in the process of going to Jack. 

Jack and Nicole stood up and tries to analyze the situation. 

'Any moment, I will be possessed. Do it before I do.' Jack said. Nicole knew what she has to do and immediately tries to watch what Joy is going to do next.

'You can't outsmart me, I already know what you need to do.' Joy said, 

They both remembered that Joy can see the knowledge inside a person she possesses. Joy leaped out of Jesse's body and transitioned to Nicole. 

'Jack! I'm burning! Help me!' she said, not covering her fear. Jack grabbed the handkerchief from Nicole's hand and held it tight. 

Jack carefully backs off out of Nicole's punching distance and with a deep breath, he charges at her back, rubbing the cloth to her skin. Joy screamed while in Nicole's body. Joy, who couldn't handle the pain, leaped out of her body and back to her specter form. 

'You insolent little liar!' Joy said to Nicole, who was still recovering from her awful experience.

'It's not justice if you kill! It's justice if you give them the right and humane punishment!' Nicole screamed. 

'I will just make you fear your own existence then.' Joy responded. She pointed her left hand to Jesse and the other, to Jack, she stretches them with inhuman capabilities, grabbed their necks and pulled them up high.

'Let us play a game, shall we? If you don't free me, they will die an awful death. 

Nicole, thinking in her head, she can grab the handkerchief that Jack lost hold of and rub it on only one of her arms to save one while the other one will die.
