Chapter 19 - The Shocking Revelation

They finished the ride and Nicole was a little dizzy from all the circling but Jaay was feeling alright.

'You screamed, a lot!' Jaay said.

'Yeah, it was my first time.' Nicole said while they both get off of the cart.

'I wonder where Jack is.'

'Yeah. Wait. Isn't he that guy? Can't tell because he is looking the other way.' Nicole exclaimed.

'Let's go have a closer look.'

They looked at each other because they recognize that person but it's not Jack. They were curious to see who that person is so they try to assume it is Jack.

'Hey, Jack!' Jaay shouted.

'There you are!'

'What the..' Jaay was surprised and shocked to see the person.

'Jesse?!'

'How can that be? You died!' Nicole was shocked to the bones.

'Jesse is dead. Did you think that I will waste a body if I can use it?' it responded.

'Joy? I can't believe you are still here, just give up already!' Jaay shouted, no one was in the vicinity at the moment because the ride closed for lunch temporarily.

'I won't forget your betrayal for long as I live! So now, I shall finish you off.'

'Never! We have defeated you once, we can do it again!'

'Oh not in this human form, you won't.' Joy teases.

'Hmph. Nicole, she is in human form so an ordinary knife can kill her when stabbed.' Jaay whispered.

'Yeah, I'll keep an eye on anything to stab her with.'

'You seem missing, where's Jack?' Joy said.

'We'll never let you get to him!' Jaay shouted.

'Where is he anyway? We don't even know where he is!' Nicole whispered.

Joy guessed carefully, 'You don't know where he is too, do you?'

'Damn, she knows.'

Joy threw two poison darts into their direction and Jaay dodged but Nicole got hit.

'You go on without me, I'll hide somewhere in this area, go find Jack for help!'

'I am not leaving without you.' Jaay said while Joy walks away to find Jack.

'That poison should last you a few more minutes, I'll go find Jack myself so you all will die together.' Joy said as she walks with glee.

'This is some sort of poison made from ionized iron dust enriched venomous substance. It can be cleansed by Type O blood.' Jaay remembered from his science class.

'Isn't that Jesse's blood type?'

'It is!'

'You can be saved by his blood, after all, let's go. I won't leave you behind and we better find Jack.' Jaay said while he struggles to lift Nicole but she managed to find her balance and walked.

'We should text him.' Nicole blurted while they walked.

'Yeah.' Jaay agreed and does so. He got a response that haunts him.

'Nicole! Jack is in the top of the Ferris Wheel.'

'We better get there now.'

They ran to the Ferris Wheel and they often sighted Joy but they sneaked around to avoid being seen.

'So... how are we getting up there?' Nicole asked.

'We won't but we will speed the rotation.' Jaay said as he tries to find the control center.

'Let's make it x3 speed.' Nicole suggested and so she did.

Joy, inside of Jesse is seen climbing one of the metal poles of the Ferris Wheel towards Jack's cart. She was so stealthy that no one knew that she was there. 

'Nicole! Is that Joy?!'

'Yeah! She is!'

'We better stop her!'

But it was too late. Joy already reached his supposed cart but she was already in it. However, it seemed that Jack wasn't there. Jack and Nicole realized that he must be hiding because it hurts to see his crush be with someone else.

'Jack isn't there, so where can he be?' Nicole asked.

'Wait, his phone has a tracking device on it right? Can we locate it with your phone's GPS?'

'I will try.'

Luckily, Jack always kept it on so he was easily traceable in a matter of seconds.

'The tracker says he is in the middle of the place, near the huge fountain.' Nicole carefully whispered to Jaay so Nicole won't hear or notice their plan this time.

'Okay, but what are we going to do about her?' Jaay asks as he points at Joy's direction.

'We shouldn't deal with her now. It doesn't seem like she notices us that we're here.'

'Okay, let's go.'

They followed the GPS system to Jack's location and they were surprised that he was still there, standing, looking at the sky like thinking a million thoughts.

'Jack! Am I glad to see you.' Jaay said, rushing to Jack.

'Jack, I thought we were late.' Nicole said while she hugs him tightly.

'Woah, why? What happened?' Jack asked.

'Joy is here in Jesse's body, no more time to explain. I'm slowly getting weaker.' Nicole said.

'Yeah, she got hit by Joy's poisoned dart.'

'That's terrible.' 

'It can be cured by Type O blood which is also Jesse's type.' 

'So where is Joy right now?'

'We have no idea, but we are sure that she will go after you to try to poison you as well.' Jaay explained dramatically.

'Okay, how are you still strong? Were you not hit?'

'I managed to dodge it but Joy doesn't know.'

'Nice, what will we do with her then?' Nicole asked.

'We will finish her once and for all.'

'And how are we going to do that?'

'Do you happen to have a sharp object?' Jaay asks Jack.

'Yeah, I always keep this retractable sharp knife with me for emergencies.'

'This might work, but we do need a backup weapon.' 

'Let's go to a safe place, indoors or something to keep us safe from these strangers.' Nicole suggested. 'I am surprised you managed to get that knife undetectable by the security.' she added.

'Yeah, it's because its not metal.'

'How is it a knife then?'

'It's made of sharp obsidian rock and was carved to look like this.' Jack said as he pulls out the knife.

'Do you have your taser on you?' Nicole asks Jack.

'No.' Jack answers.

'But... I do! This is portable and accessible.'

'Okay, now we wait for Joy to appear somewhere.'

'Yeah, I hope our plan works. This is to finish this.' 

'And fast, I'm getting weaker every minute.' Nicole added.

'Don't worry, we will deal with her.'

'The dart hit the bottom of your knees which is full of bones and the hit was pretty shallow, you should have more time than you think.' Jaay said.

'Okay, that's reassuring.' Nicole responded.
