It was four in the morning, and she still had not slept yet.
She thought about the time she was cheated on. Perhaps, she will never be good enough for anyone.
She thought about her past mistakes and blamed herself. She wished, "If I were just a bit of something . . ."
Her heartbeat raced, so she tried to slow it down by holding her chest. She wept, but she wiped it immediately, afraid that someone would switch the light on and see her.
Then she received a message.
If you're still awake and you're having your attacks, I'm already awake and ready to listen. I love you.
And with that, she smiled and slept.
