"Can we talk?"

She was staring at his message, not knowing what to answer. Now she was thinking of too many what ifs. What if he doesn't love her anymore? What if he's cheating? What if he met someone better than her? What if he'd ask for space? What if he grew tired of her?

Tears fell, and she didn't know what to do. She was panicking, sobbing, worrying. Her heart started to beat fast.

Then her phone rang. She didn't want to answer, but she knew she couldn't even just leave it like that.

"Hello?" she answered.

"What took you so long?" he asked.

"Why . . . what . . . will we talk about?"

"I just wanted to ask if you can come downstairs and hug me."

She was surprised and immediately went outside to see him. She hugged him tight, so tight. He hugged her back, gave her flowers, and kissed her forehead.

Then she started to cry and punch his chest. Not knowing what was happening, he asked, "What's wrong, love?"

"Next time," she pleaded, "just tell me you're outside."
