It was summer when it suddenly rained. Again, she was alone, feeling helpless. And she knew why.
"You know what's even harder?" she said to herself as she wiped her tears. "You're crying, and you want to tell someone, but you can't, and you won't anyway." Then she put her blanker closer to her shivering lips.
She kept on invalidating her own feelings, keeping her pain to herself, thinking that her pain was just shallow, even when she kept on telling others how pain is different for each one. She wanted so bad just to be okay and accept things as they were. But the universe knew it was not that easy.
When she looked at the mirror, she saw a hopeless girl drowned in her own tears, her black eyeliner highlighting the circles around her tired eyes. She knew then . . . she found her worst enemy.
