Tsk! Until now, I knew mayroon pa rin akong kaagaw sa kaniya. I planned and set everything to make sure in the end she'll be mine, but that vampire is the only impediment to my happy ending. Got to make sure to get rid of him before I could perform my conspiracy.

I slightly squinted my eyes to peek on the window. Several vans and cars was parked in the front of our house. I easily recognized those cars because of the red dragon imprinted on it.

I knew it, he followed me..

"An'yare? Ba't may putok ng baril?" I felt Hera's presence stood beside me. An expression was written on her face as if she doesn't had a petty idea what's going on. Pinigilan ko ang kamay niya nang tangkain niyang sumilip sa bintana.

"Wag kang sumilip. Mapahamak." Babala ko. Wala siyang nagawa kung hindi ang sumimangot at sumunod nalang. "He must'nt know that we're here."

"Sino ba kasi 'yon?" Pagtataka niya.

I gave her a look. "He's here.."

As soon as she got the cue, she nodded in response. "Oww.. Si ano.."

"We shouldn't show off. He will drag us."

"Drag you, he's only interested to you, not me." Pagtatama niya. I rolled my eyes and stepped away from the window.

"Of course he will also drag you. You're the closest person to me, and I'm pretty sure he'll gonna use you as the bait to lure me." mahinang untag ko. Nilinga-linga ko ang paningin sa paligid, trying to find a suitable tool to be use as our weapon since my katanas was located downstairs.

Ugh! I should'nt let my katanas depart from me..

"Can we hide somewhere else? This is not the safe spot to lurk ourselves." mungkahi ni Hera. Her eyes was prancing, also looking for something that could be use to defend ourselves.

"Enough with the questions. For now, sumunod ka muna sa mga sasabihin ko."

"Alright! Basta-- oh my! Nagbayad ka ba ng bill sa kuryente?!" Hera squealed. The lights turned off, consuming our eyes with completely darkness.

That freaking man! Alam kong kagagawan niya ito, he cut off the circuit around the house so it will be difficult for us to sneak in, and so he could perform his plan easily.

"Hindi tayo naputulan, for goodness sake! Someone turned off the circuit." Paliwanag ko. Though, I actually can't see her reaction, I had an idea that she was too confused to believe me. I sneaked my way on the drawer and extracted a flashlight.
