Chapter 24

I woke up, angry and aware, I didn't want to see him this morning, it was quite early he wouldn't be up yet, i heard him get in last night around 3ish only an hour after me and Jack.

I needed a shower but I couldn't risk waking Jack up and having to face him, act like everything was cool because it wasn't. I grabbed my makeup bag and hairdryer, I threw them into my backpack and changed out of my pjs.

I walked down the stairs slowly, giving Jack G's bedroom the door the middle finger as I passed it, I slowly and quietly opened the front door and closed it behind me.

I walked over to Jack J's and rang him instead of knocking incase his family were sleeping. He opened the door for me and we went up to his room.

Jack J: How are you feeling?

Me: Okay, no one was awake when I left so I haven't seen Jack yet

Jack J: You realise you'll have to see him sooner or later

Me: I know

Jack J: What will you do when you do

Me: Act civil, pretend he didn't kinda screw me over last night, and technically a few months ago

Jack J: I feel awful for telling you

Me: No honestly I'm happy you told me. You've reassured me that I definitely don't want a relationship, I mean look how shitty I feel after this and we aren't even together, it would have been 200 times worse if I was actually with him. I've saved myself a lot of pain.

Jack J: I wish you didn't think like that, you and Jack are so good together and you like eachother.

Me: But we can't. Especailly considering he will always have feelings for the ridiculously beautiful Leigh, who I literally look like dog shit in comparison.

Jack laughed at me and I smiled, he was such a good friend to me and could make me feel better with just a look.

Jack J: How bout you take a shower, wash off last night, get ready for today while I make breakfast and we'll play some basketball out back

Me: Okay

Jack went downstairs, and I jumped in the shower and then got ready by putting in some makeup and drying my hair. I walked downstairs to see Jack had made some pancakes.

Obviously I had to instagram it because it was super cute and we ate.

After breakfast Jack grabbed a ball from upstairs and began spinning it on his finger showing off. I rolled my eyes and we thought it was best to take turns shooting hoops instead of playing against eachother.

Jack J: So Jack is awake... He texted me asking if you were round because he checked on you this morning and you weren't there

Me: Oh right

Jack J: He's coming over soon

Me: Okay, I was eventually going to see him today, at least you're here so I'm not alone.

After about 10 minutes Jack G walked into Jack J's back yard. He was looking so good today, he always looks good, it was pretty shit considering he had been getting with another girl last night.

Jack G: Yoooo

Jack J: Sup bro

Jack G: How are you feeling for last night, had such a headache this morning

Jack J: I know I did too it was ridic

Jack G: We're alright Lo?

Me: Yeah I was fine
