Chapter 3

Italics - Different language

Her breath immediately quickens as the male that is way taller then her growls. He is about the same physical shape as the first male she met, his skin is a lighter brown though, his eyes though they are a deep blue. He tilts his head but doesn't speak anything, Catherine turns to leave into the other room but she sees other aliens looking at her. Some look very agressive by her presence making her swallow hard.

"Your not supposed to be out here." The male in front of her face growled roughly. Catherine doesn't say anything, she obviously isn't supposed to be here.

"Where am I?" She asks feeling the awful headache from earlier show in her head again. The male doesn't speak for a few moments then he looks behind her to the others. She looks again realizing there are several more, she notices the one who put the IV in her arm walking over.

"What the pauk are you thinking?!" The male snarled once he was over. She flinched but otherwise looks around and shoots daggers at him.

"Where am I." She fully ignores his other question(which she knows wasn't supposed to be answered). He grabs her arm forcefully and yank her away from the other male. "Now is not the time for questions ooman, you cannot be here many don't know of your presence yet." He growls and goes in the direction he came from.

The other aliens in the area watch her leave many are growling but she ignores them looking at where the two of them are going. They both come to a door similar to the one she was in when she awoke in. The male typed in a code on the keypad next to the door and it opened up, she sees several of the aliens on beds many who are breathing heavy and shallow. He brings her to the one on the end, she immediately knows it's a child. It's much smaller and under developed from the rest.

Catherine sees a male sitting next to the child, he's the largest one she's seen. His body is covered in silver scars his amber eyes are fixed on the child, he is also wearing a long red flowing cape making Catherine think he's of some importance. The male next to her clears his throat and the large one snaps his head up to him. He first sets his eyes on the male next to Catherine then her. He looks her over with a grunt and stands crossing his arms.

"Greetings Elder." Clicks the male next to Catherine.

"Hello, Gwan. I see you have our 'guest.'" The Elder says looking down at Catherine narrowing her eyes.

"She won't be easy to contain." Grunts Gwan, "much more stubborn." He adds and leaves her going to some other aliens and gets an IV. He extends his hand. "Arm." He says so Catherine puts her arm in his hand so he grips it and puts the IV into her vein. She flinches watching as the rest of the IV is inserted into the alien child's arm.

A few moments later the IV starts to fill with deep red blood that travels from the IV to the aliens arm. It goes in and about the seconds later Gwan removes the IV from her arm. She rubs the spot where the IV had been uncomfortably in her skin and watches the male child along with a bunch of other aliens whom had gathered. A few minutes passed with no change to the alien and a few of them begin to grow impatient, Catherine bites her lip nervously.

Though, then, the child begins to cough and shakes a little. "Kirvan!" The Elder immediately says going over the child gripping one of his shoulders. Catherine leans a little in to see the child open up his eyes and many of the aliens begin to purr exchanging their own language with the child. "It's alright Kirvan." Purrs the Elder. Gwan looks back at Catherine, "that's why your here ooman." He says in English which catches the attention of other aliens whom look at her. "Thank you ooman." The Elder says looking at Catherine from the child below him. She nods rubbing her lips clearly uncomfortable with all the social interaction and recognition she's receiving.
