Catherine was sitting outside on an overturned log from a tree. She could feel the uncomfortable bumps and ripples from what she sat on but it seemed it was the last thought on her mind. The area had turned into a rather large clearing since the clan had established themselves, making this place more of a home then temporary camp.

Large and towering trees surrounded them, foreboding darkness laid in between the trunks and brush. There were times where the little human girl swore she could see hungry glints of eyes in the distance, their eyes devouring her every time she looked out. If it wasn't for the albino Yautja that sat next to her, Catherine would've been running back inside by now. But Bhu'ja served as a reliable source of comfort that she could go to if she needed to.

For today it was that she was trying to steer clear of everyone. That's why she had stuck to Bhu'ja like glue. He hadn't minded, actually, she suspected he appreciated her there even though he never admitted to anything. After the day's long work the clan was more relaxed; outside and surrounding campfires of varied sizes. Some had flames that barely lapped a few feet in the air while other fires resembled more of bonfires with just the light they radiated off, not to mention that the flames had danced outward more.

Catherine and Bhu'ja sat alone, enjoying each other's company and the silence around them. She was grateful that he hadn't asked her anything about her meltdown the day before, even more so about the absent mention of her father. She had been doing a good job steering clear of that man, physically and mentally. Yet it seemed that any sense of silence and Catherine's comfort was about to come crumbling down.

"I hope you know that I never knew about your father. Well regarding who he is." He would mention, therefore breaking the silence that had previously been between the two. She eventually shrugged her shoulders, seeming to push the thoughts away as she watched the fire intently. At the flames that flowed effortlessly, the more she watched the more it made her feel at peace. It was odd that something so mundane could stir that up in her, from just watching the flames from a fire.

"You should speak with him, at least try to." He added which earned him a sharp glare from the women that sat next to him, she saw his shoulders square slightly at her piercing gaze. She would shake her head, not bothering to hide any bitterness she had for her father. The feeling radiated off of her in violent waves, as if she was the raging storm over the dark ocean, causing waves to churn and splash against the hulls of ships. Despite her signs of not only being uncomfortable but angered at the subject Bhu'ja pushed on, he was deliberate to get somewhere with Catherine when regarding Kral.

"Let me give you some advice-" He started, pausing when seeing her body. He could feel her emotion, a chaotic clutter of rage, sadness, and guilt. It overwhelmed Catherine. Bhu'ja could see her in her entirety now, a human that was struggling to contain herself. Her tense body and her left leg which was beginning to bounce were clear enough signs. Yes, it may have been the cold, it was getting a little chilly out which could be the reason for her trembling but he knew much better than that. He may not have known much of oomans or their confusing social cues and rituals. But if there was one thing he understood it was the concept of comforting a distressed ooman when they needed it.

He sighed, a huff coming from him as he drew closer to her. She could feel a large arm around her left shoulder which wrapped to her right from the back, gently pulling her near him. There was an urge to flinch, veer away and not accept any comfort he was offering. You need someone. Her mind told her, the first thing was her body slowly stopping the shivers. Let him help you. The voice was similar to her own but it wasn't Catherine now. It was a stronger Catherine, one that knew the right thing to do. This Catherine was advising her, and she knew it would be foolish to ignore her. That's why she leaned into him, feeling truly soothed. That's the first for a while.
