Catherine's POV
Blood slowly drained from her wrists, the IVs went down to the large bags on either side that were about 1/4th of the way full. As every minute passed she could feel herself growing increasingly numb, she chalked it up to the strange white liquid they had earlier put in.
Catherine leaned her head back, her arms were completely numb now and she could faintly feel the same buzzing in her thighs. She sighed as she tried to look around the room but didn't have much strength, these Yautja were taking quite a lot of blood.
She didn't know what to do now so she had just admitted defeat, what else could she possibly do? These Yautja didn't care for her one bit, as long as her heart was beating they were satisfied. Which is why her ribs burned, that first punch by the leader hurt a bit. And now Catherine was experiencing the blunt of it, there was at least a bruised rib. Possibly a cracked one but she didn't know for sure.
Even though her body was slowly numbing, it didn't numb the pain she felt which was a bummer. So she had to live with the uncomfortable pokes in her wrists and her burning ribcage. Other then that she had a headache and could feel cold sweat on her back.
There was still one Yautja in her room, he didn't talk only uneasily watched her. It felt really weird. She tried to look at him, seeing him for a few seconds. He seemed very interested in a large curved sword in his hand, using a small and thinner knife to carve things into the handle.
He looked at her, more then likely detecting that she had been doing so. He didn't break the stare which made it more awkward for her, eventually he looked back down at his work and started talking Yautja. She looked at the door seeing another Yautja in the doorway who gestured to the one who had been watching her and said something.
That Yautja would grunt but stand and put his sword down, and they'd leave the room. She sighed tiredly, 'alone once more.'
???'s POV
"Seriously Gare'thui I don't understand why you need my help to hunt Kanarys." A male grumbled as him and said Gare'thui walked through the semi-crowded camp. He looked at the Yautja and clicked his mandibles as he spoke, "I already told you that Th'syra was awful at training me. He shows me a move and expects me to copy it fully." He frustratingly said. "I learn hands-on," he looked at his friend "like you."
The male whom was named Ta'thiil slowly nodded, accepting that his mei'hswei needed assistance. Gare'thui was a very focused male, he always excelled at training. Though when his personal mentor was switched his progress began to fail. "Alright I'll help you." He agreed. "Though, I can't stay long. If your not fully aware I'm supposed to be protecting the ooman."
His mei'hswei gave him an odd look; "why would you think I'd forget you were protecting her? It's just that no one else could help me." The two began to leave camp, Ta'thiil adjusted his armour as they set off into the forest.
He took out his al'nagara that he used for combat and jumped into one of the trees. He preferred being high up when he travelled and hunted his prey, he was considered a close distance hunter. He liked to hunt his prey from a distant, but come in close for the kill.
The pair would travel a distance until they came across strange clicking and snarling noises. The creatures called Kanary's were large insect creatures, larger then Xaniz and just as formidable as them. They seemed to resemble the Earth bug mantis, yet its claws were large and sharp and it was quick on its feet.
Ta'thiil and Gare'thui watched it from the trees, readying themselves for the hunt ahead. He stood up on the wide branch and waited for the right moment then jumped off, landing on the back of the beast. It let out a reptilian type screech and its claws reached back to Ta'thiil but were unsuccessful in touching him.
