2 Weeks Later

Catherine's POV

The past two weeks had been boring, boring to the point Catherine was literally begging Gwan to let her leave the room. Dachande had said she wasn't to leave the room because when the other clan attacked her bruised ribs had gotten worse. Well worse was to the point that it hurt to barely expand her ribs. Gwan had given her countless pain killers and other medications but sometimes that hardly worked to keep the pain away.

She was now laying in bed having hopefully fully healed. Gwan was going to fully access her today and Catherine was feeling better so hoped she could leave. She lays in the bed twirling her thumbs as she was bored beyond belief. The sound of the door whooshing open and the blast of hot air made her shoot up seeing Gwan come in. He looks at her his mandibles clicking a few times as she closes it behind him and approaches the bed. "I'm feeling a lot better" she says with a small smile showing that by taking a deep breath with barely any pain.

The Yautja in front of her clicks his mandibles rapidly as in he was laughing a little bit. "I can see that" he says then goes to the side of the bed. He pulls a clear screen down which Catherine recently learned was a super high tech x-ray. She lays down as Gwan slides the screen over her chest, immediately a skeletal image of her chest on the screen. "Soooo how does it look?" She anxiously ask her brown eyes curious as Catherine looks at Gwan.

He stayed silent for a little while scanning his eyes over the screen narrowing his eyes. He looks back down at her, "your ribs look good" he pulls the screen away. She knew what he needed to assess next and made a sigh crossing her arms, "Is the fact I can take a deep breath without hurting not enough for your research?" She suspiciously says as she seemed to be frowning her eyes also slightly narrowed at the Yautja. He rolled his golden orbs at what he said and she makes an awkward breath and sucked in her stomach so her ribs could somewhat show, barely though.

Gwan pressed his hand on her ribs somewhat gently then presses down a little. "Tell me where you experience pain" he says and presses down on several areas. One of them in particular made Catherine feel pain and she instinctually moves back and he removes his hand. "So not completely healed but almost" he says as if Gwan made a mental note of his assessment over her. "Does that mean I can leave though?" Catherine quickly says, moving some of her wavy brown hair out of her eyes. The Yautja pauses thinking over what he said and finally makes a sigh, "you've bugged me enough over it so yes." She almost cheers but he interrupts as she was going to speak, "but I need to check your head." Catherine made a dramatic groan and lays on the bed as Gwan brings the clear screen back over.

He soon finishes and tells Catherine she's good to go and she does cheer with a smile. "Thank you! I've been in this room way to long" she says and gets up feeling a little dizzy. Though she had figured she could grab some water later, a more pressing matter was to have a nice bath. There wasn't a bathroom in the medical bay so she would need to go a little down the hall to get to it. "Speaking of letting you out Bhu'ja wanted to show you something." As if on cue the male enters into the room and Catherine looks at him. He looks at her and it looks like his mandibles smiled, "hello Catherine how you feeling?"

"Really good thanks for asking," Catherine was in a really good mood mostly by the fact she could leave now. "Someone is cheery" he says sounding happy himself and comes out the door. "I have a surprise, I talked to Dachande and he agreed to it." She seemed a little excited and followed him out the door saying a quick bye to Gwan who briefly exchanged the same thing. She gets into the ridiculously hot hallway and looks around then at Bhu'ja. "Alright follow me" he says and she follows him through the semi-crowded hallway.
