NightClaw's POV

Nothing. Nothing. And oh what's this? Nothing. Eventually NightClaw was getting very frustrated he couldn't find a thing of where Catherine was. The thought that she could be alone, hurt, or currently captured made him pretty angry.

A sigh followed from him checking yet another area, accompanied by calling her name. It had been a day now since she was missing and some Yautja had begun to believe she may of been dead by now, how far could she have gone? The blood where she had fallen was immense so she couldn't of gotten very far on her own.

NightClaw grunts as he reluctantly returned to the Mothership where Yautja had set up tents to stay in. Some were coming back from hunts while others were preparing food or sparring. He makes his way to Mas-T'Eall whom was currently speaking to one of the guards out of earshot.

He waited patiently for the larger and older male to dismiss the guard and when he did he turns to him. "Did you find anything?" NightClaw shook his head making Mas-T'Eall sigh and click his mandibles a few times in thought.

'I shouldn't of let her go out.' NightClaw thinks to himself miserably as he thought of what he could of done to stop it. His thoughts also drifted to Paya- the warrior of his clan partially responsible for her being missing. She was badly punished and currently labeled an Omega, a low rank in my clan until further notice. NightClaw spotted the female skinning different animals and cutting up meat. She also helped sharpen and repair weapons along with the blacksmiths on the mothership.

"We should've found something by now." The voice of Mas-T'Eall snapped him from his current thoughts.

"What do you mean?" NightClaw asked him with a curious expression.

"I mean if Catherine was dead we would've found something. Blood, remains, clothing. Her signal would of gone offline but that hadn't occurred yet." He seemed to have a thought a possibility of what may be happening to her.

"What's on your mind?" He questions but Mas-T'Eal waved him off and turned on his heels back to the mothership quickly.

Mas-T'Eall POV

He was standing in the centre of the small camp waiting patiently for someone to approach him with news of Catherine's disappearance. So far no one had came up with a single thing which was undoubtably unnerving to think she possibly had passed. Though Dachande seemed to be adamant she was alive as long as a red dot was on a glitching map- though it didn't make anyone less worried.

Even if she was alive for how long? She was badly injured so maybe she's just clinging onto life right now. The Yautja growls at himself for thinking this and crosses his arms taking a few unnoticeable breaths. He then spots a guard approaching him who respectfully bows his head then looks into Mas-T'Eall's eyes.

"So far nothing on Catherine, but some others found fuel deposits." He nods after the guard finished explaining. "Alright. Speak to Elder Lar'ja about the fuel deposit and let yourself rest." As he was looking at the guard he could see he looked physically drained. Most of the guards had been looking around for hours on end and hadn't had a break which they needed one by now.

He nods then leaves in the direction of Lar'ja, Mas-T'Eall's eyes training after him for a few seconds. Then he spotted NightClaw also walking in his direction. Once he paused he spoke "did you find anything?" NightClaw shook his head with a grim expression.

Sighing then clicking his mandibles multiple times began to think. Something about this situation just wasn't right for whatever reason. By that he meant that they should of uncovered something. For Paya's sake an injured ooman can't get so far in only a day! Either she was dead or currently dying because she couldn't be just fine. Though he thought she was dead Dachande was saying that if on the map was a red dot she still had a heartbeat so to keep looking. Possibly though something else could be going on here that wasn't her being dead or eaten by rabid aliens. Other Yautja. It was absurd since no Yautja had been reported here for years but the idea wasn't that too far out there.
