You were sitting on your dad, Crowley's throne, bored out of your mind and picking at your nails. You then decided that lying upside down on the throne would cure your boredom. So you attempted it. You turn yourself in such a way that your long legs were touching the tip of the throne while your head almost touching the floor. The pits of Hell upside down looked much more entertaining. Then somehow you slid off the throne and fell onto the ground with a loud thud just as Hades came by. He helped you up and dusted you off.
"Princess [Y/N], your father awaits your presence in the living room." He informs you. You smile at him before getting off the throne and replying,
"Thanks Uncle Hades!" With that, you skipped off to see what your father wanted. Hades wasn't actually your uncle, he just shares Hell with your Dad and Crowley was the nicest to Hades because Hades had given your Dad his best wine in exchange to keep his share of Hell when Crowley first took over. You know your Dad couldn't resist a bottle of wine to save his life.Once you reach the living room, you immediately knew your father was going to send you on a hunt to catch his latest victims. He only did this when he couldn't trust anyone else to do the job. You see all the food and treats set up just for you to convince you to go. You'd always say yes because it meant spending more time with your boyfriend, Balthazar before and after the hunt. The food was just a bonus.
Crowley zaps beside you and plants a kiss on your cheek,
"So darling, ready to take on this hunt?"
"Yes Daddy. Name and cordinates?" you ask, getting down to business. Daddy grins proudly at you.
"Ah that's my little girl. Balthazar the angel and he's right around the café near your old high school." You freeze at the mention of Bal. Did your father find out? Was it a test? All the questions circled around your head but you kept calm, hoping your dad didn't notice anything.
"Okay then. I'll be off." you kiss his cheek quickly before walking off to find Balthazar. Balthazar texts you before you could warn him."Hello my British crumpet. How are doing today?"
"I'm not British, hun. I'm Scottish remember? Anyways I am not having a good day. Stay at home I'll be there in 15."
You text back, zapping yourself to his buliding. You don't like zapping yourself to the exact spot as you prefer to walk to your destination. It makes you feel normal. That's partially why you liked hanging out with Bal so much, he treated you like a princess yet he made you feel normal unlike everyone in Hell who always called you Princess and were too afraid to have a normal conversation with you.
As soon as you reach his door, you take out your spare keys and barge into his door yelling,
"Bal! I'm here!" as always. Soon enough the angel swoops you in his arms and spins you around. You laugh as he does so. Finally he puts you down, you two share a quick sweet kiss."Hey crumpet." you roll your eyes at his nickname for you.
"It's still a terrible nickname, big boy." He chuckles before tackling you onto the couch.
"BAL!" You yelp as you go down with him. At this point, the two of you are tangled up on the couch but you soon adjust yourselves, Bal was sitting on the couch properly while you rested your head on his chest. He then snaps his fingers, next thing you know there's a blanket on top of you, Bal holding a bowl of popcorn and your favourite film was playing. You snuggled closer to him and began watching the flim.***
Somewhere along the way, you ended up falling asleep on Bal and he just turned off the television just so he could watch you sleep in peace. Unfortunately, the bliss didn't last long when the constant buzzing of your phone woke you up. Bal held up your phone,
"Its your dad." You quickly grab it and pick it up."Hi Daddy."
"[Y/N]! Where in the bloody world are you?"
"I'm still looking for him.." you try as hard as possible to keep your voice calm.
"Taking this long? Usually by now, you would have been back and helping me torture."
"Well angels are hard to catch Daddy..." you hoped he'd just leave alone but no, it just got worse.
"Is he really that hard to catch, [Y/N] ?" Your dad questioned over the phone as he stood in front of you and Bal. You clutched Bal's hand really tight, fearing what would come next."Daddy...I can explain...." Before you could, Crowley cut you off and launched straight into one of his booming lectures.
"[Your full name], I DID NOT RAISE YOU TO RUN AROUND WITH SOME DOUCHEBAG ANGEL! OUT OF ALL THE LOVERS, YOU PICK A BLOODY ANGEL?? I THOUGHT YOU FANCIED HADES." Before the Hades bit, you were plainly listening to him and then once he got to the topic of Hades, you stood up and cut him off.
"HADES? REALLY DADDY?? HE'S PROBABLY OLDER THAN YOU! OH MY GOODNESS." You scream back at him. While you and your dad had a screaming match, neither of you noticed that Balthazar had disappeared. Just when your father and yourself started throwing things at each other, Balthazar came in between the two of you and stopped the fight.
"The two of you are being very childish right now, would you like some wine, sir? Crumpet, do you want some coffee?" Bal was being awfully polite. You guess it was because he cared about you enough to try persuade your father and get approval.
"Get away from me, you winged abomination!" Crowley yelled at him. You hit your dad on the arm really hard that he let out a cry of distress.
"Daddy! Don't be so rude! He's just being nice. Bal, just get my Dad some Craig." Balthazar nodded, leaving the two of you alone. Your father wanted to say something but you weren't going to let him."Dad, take a seat and now for once you're going to listen to me," you took a deep breath before continuing, "Daddy, I love Balthazar. We've been dating for about half a year already and even though I haven't said it to him, I will admit to you that I love him with all my heart. All my life, I did what you asked and always pleased you. I love living in Hell with you but the way everyone is so stiff around me, suffocates me everyday. Whenever you send me out on hunts is the only time I get to see Bal and its probably the only time I get to see a world where people are heart warming and kind. Please I will never lie to you again or hide anything and I'll do your every bidding. Just don't deny your only daughter at a shot of being happy. Please Daddy....this is just the one thing I'm asking."
You give him your best grown up face. He needed to know that you were now an adult and you could take care of yourself. Crowley sighed to himself before standing up and pulling you into a tight hug.
"Ah..my little girl is growing up. Just because I want to you happy does not mean I like this one bit and I will not hesitate to torture the winged abomination if he ever hurts you." he whispers in your ear before letting you go. You grin happily at your dad before you call out to Balthazar."BAL! I know you were eavesdropping, come on here." A pretty red Balthazar entered the living room with the wine for your father and coffee with cookies for you. He passes the wine to Crowley,
"Here you are, sir. I hope you don't mind I mixed a bit of French wine with the Craig," he then held you closer and looked down at you,"I love you too, Crumpet." he placed a kiss on your head. You rest your head on his chest as the two of you look at your dad.
"Just because I want my daughter happy, does not mean I approve you, winged abomination. Oooh, this is really good wine." The fact that Crowley went from insulting Bal to how good the wine tasted made you all laugh. You wanted this moment last as long as it could because you knew other problems would arise but you could worry about those another day.
