Leah's wishes came true the next morning when Jared gave Leah a sweater to wear. It was getting closer to winter now and he couldn't leave her to freeze, could he?

Only, Leah wasn't worried about being cold. She had faith that she would soon be home. With her nice, warm comforter wrapped around her body as the farm house was just a bad memory.

Saying that, where was home for Leah Marshall? There was no way she could go back and live with Derek after she'd ditched him. Leah would be on the streets, and she knew it.

She'd only got herself in this position.

But these people were so twisted. Leah didn't think it was possible to be this messed up. Not only did they rape and kill, but they also ate humans. They thought it was okay. What stable person thinks that? She'd have to deal with this once and for all. Leah could feel herself breaking each day from the constant drive of beatings and pain.

She knew she'd have to do it tonight. From last night's episode, she'd realised that even being good with Jared didn't keep her from getting hurt. If turning down sex was classed as misbehaving, then Leah needed to re-think the way she'd been acting here. One of their rules was never say no to them, and Leah had practically pushed Jared of her when she felt it would go too far.

Foolish Leah seriously thought he'd turn around and agree to wait. Jared would be waiting forever, because Leah was honestly so terrified she wouldn't even breathe near him if she had a say in it. But she didn't.

She could never say no.

Leah helped Lindsay wash the dishes and clean up. Around about 4:30pm, they began cooking dinner and Leah had never been this excited to eat. To feel that cold metal on her finger tips. She smiled to herself as she thought of their last supper. It was causing her to feel gratified that escaping here would mean actually killing them.

She grabbed the meat and passed it to Lindsay, gagging in the process; she was definitely going to vomit, so she closed her eyes to forget about the reality of what that was. It appeared so natural- maybe even too natural, that it had never occurred to her, despite the hints. Why wouldn't these people eat their own kind? She had knowledge or understanding of the situation.

Jared and Gabriel entered the house and closed the door behind them. They didn't say a word- Jared didn't greet Leah, and Gabriel didn't greet Lindsay. Leah gave Lindsay a skeptical look, but Lindsay just darted her eyes away with a worried expression on her face.

The door opened again and Leah swung her head around, to see Theo enter. Only his appearance had changed drastically since seeing him last night. Theo had a large, purple bruise coating his entire left eye. Those dark brown eyes were barely noticeable through the swelling. Even from where Leah was stood, she witnessed the green that hovered around the punishment. It caused his face to look disfigured, and made Leah shudder in horror.

Gabriel must've been so mad about Theo leaving the dinner table last night..

It made her have second thoughts about her plan.

Leah tried her hardest to tare her eyes from Theo as he came in and sat at the kitchen table.  He immediately began tucking into his food.

Leah took her seat as well. She hoped to see her same blade from yesterday. But Lindsay hadn't placed the cutlery down beside Leah yet and she was itching like an addict to feel it in her hands. She could feel herself growing impatient; it was as if she wanted to use it so much. It was the only key to her freedom.

When Lindsay finally set everything down, Leah's eyes drooled at the spiky knife and she didn't even feel Jared place his arm around her skimpy body. Jared furrowed his brows when he noticed Leah's stillness, but he decided to ignore it.
