Here was Luke and Michael again. In another argument. It was their promo tour for crying out loud and they were already getting into arguments.
"Oh i hate you so much why don't you do everyone a favor and leave the band!" Luke yelled causing michael to yell back. Ashton and Calum were outside the hotel talking to fans while the other two were currently stuck in their shared room. They don't know how this argument started but it did some how.
"Please, stop being such a little bitch and act your age!" Luke pushed michael angry at his comeback. "Im so done with you!" Luke screamed before going to his suitcase.
"Here have ur beanie back!" He said angrily throwing the beanie he stole from michael when they were dating. "Have your stupid hoodie back!" Michael looked at the hoodie thrown on the floor and frowned. It was the hoodie he gave Luke when his boyfriend in high school dumped him and michael saw him crying and walking home in the rain.
Luke shut his suitcase not finding anything else before turning back around to face Michael. "Take this stupid 'promise' ring and give it to your little old girlfriend." He continued, throwing the ring at michael.
Tears filled his eyes when his hand came up to neck slowly gripping the metal material around it. Michael got Luke that necklace with a key on it for their one month anniversary when they were fifteen with a note that said "you have the key to my heart." Ever since then Luke never took it off and i mean never.
"Luke-" michael whispered feeling his heart break. That necklace was the only thing that reminded him that luke was waiting, that he was waiting with michael until all this contract bullshit that he didn't know about blows over. Michael guessed he was wrong though tears filling his own eyes.
Luke's grip got tighter and tighter until he finally brought himself to yank it off and drop it to the ground. "I told you. I was done." He said through gritted teeth before leaving.
Once the door shut michael let angry tears fall. He wasn't mad at Luke anymore, he was mad at himself. If he just fought and told management No. If he just never signed that paper, if he used to not care what people thought about his sexuality. If only things were different.
But they weren't and because of that, Michael lost the love of his life.
