Michael sat at the coffee shop nervously twirling his straw in his water. He watched the steam come up from Lukes hot sweet tea. Its what the blonde always ordered when they were teenagers.

teenagers Michael couldn't believe he hasn't seen luke since they were teenagers. would he even recognize him? He was now 29, almost 30 while the blonde was 28! Michael hadn't spent one day without thinking of the blonde boy even if his thoughts of him was just a second, he hasnt spent a day without thinking.

Michael was snapped out of his thought by the cafes bell ringing as the door opened. Michael immediately knew who it was just by the glistening blue eyes.

luke saw michael stand up, the blonde wanted to cry. its been 12 fucking years since he saw the boy who was once his world. They both went for hugs not even caring that they probably looked weird with how tight they were squeezing each other.

"i got you the tea you used to get i don't know if you switched to coffee or something." Michael explained sitting across the blonde. luke nodded. he actually switched to healthy juices but he wasnt gonna mention it.

"god– how are you?" michael asked not believing that he's finally talking to his baby again. "im fine." luke smiled stirring his spoon in his tea. "anything new?" the blonde asked giving michael a half smile.

"nothing really, i made a living in boston by working in restaurants and other companies but ive decided to move back here just because this was my childhood... crappy childhood but still." Luke nodded. michael is coming back? luke didn't need this added onto his plate he has enough stuff to worry about.

"what's new with you? blondie." Luke smiled at his old nickname from michael before speaking the words that might've hurt michaels heart a little.

"uh well, i have a wife– Elizabeth Moore. you might remember her." michael only nodded furrowing his eyebrows together as luke continued "we have a beautiful 5 year old daughter, ellie. Uhh, i run my own buisness and thats all whats really new i guess." luke awkwardly laugh.

"wow..." michael began running his hands through his hair. "you're a dad now?" michael let out a breath. he knew he told luke to start a good family once he left but he kinda hoped luke would wait.

"yeah." luke relplied looking away he looked tensed like he was uncomfortable and michael really wanted luke to act normal around him again. "i missed you... so much Luke you dont understand-"

"Why didn't you just take me with you?" Luke asked tears alreay filling his eyes looking straight in michaels. "Luke, please don't do this again." michael sighed. "i was just a year younger than you i could've gone with you nobody would've even noticed!"

"you think i didn't want to take you with me? huh? moving to a different state with a boy i barely knew at the time? you don't think i would've love to have the boy i loved with me?!" Michael shouted in a whisper.

"Then why didn't you!" Luke spoke loudly slamming his hand down on the table causing everyone to stop what they were doing and look at the two before quickly returning to what they were doing. "I spent 12 fucking years waiting for your reasoning... so dont fucking sit here and treat me like im still a kid! im 28 years old michael!" luke finally lowered his voice.

"Please can we talk about this in private later?" michael asked causing luke to furrow his eyebrows before agreeing angrily.

"tell me other things that has happened, did you go to college? did you get into that one you dreamt about?" michael asked causing the blonde to look down not responding.

"come on you used to tell me everything!" Michael pushed before luke looked up again

the blonde starred at michael as if he was thinking before finally speaking.

"I remember when I used to tell you everything. The second something happened, you'd pop into my mind straight away and I'd think, I've got to tell Michael! And then you-"

"-Moved away, left you behind. I know. I regret it." michael cut him off shaking his head disapointed at himelf

"Do you though?" Luke asked angrily standing up to walk out. michael stood up next following the blonde outside onto the street.

"of course i regret it Luke!" michael yelled grabbing the blonde shoulder causing him to turning around. "Then why didnt you come back to get me? why didn't you send any letters? why were you gone for 12 years? why did you make me marry her? why did you leave me!" Luke full on let out sobs as he screamed. "you ruined my life once you left... you were my rock... m-my everything." luke quietly let out sobs onto michaels shoulder as he hugged the blonde as tight as he could.

"i thought i was doing the right thing." michael whispered causing luke to shake his head. "well it wasn't" he sniffled wrapping his arms around Michael.

"i know." michael continued to whisper before he let go looking luke in the eyes. "i never stopped loving you." Luke spoke as michael rubbed his tears away.

"i never once doubted my love for you." he continued before michael stopped luke kissing him softly. there was no lust, only love.

"i love you." michael whispered

luke smiled not thinking about his marriage with a girl he never loved. only thinking about Michael.
