Luke walked into his house greeting his five year old daughter who was coloring on the floor while watching sponge bob. "Hi daddy look at what i colored!" She smiled up at her dad showing him her drawing of their family. Luke smiled taking it and hanging it on the fridge.
"Hey Ellie, where's mommy?" Luke asked picking his daughter up kissing her cheek. Ellie giggled before pointing down the hall to her parents room. Luke thanked her before putting El down, her going back to her coloring sheets.
"Beth?" Luke called walking into the room seeing his wife holding Lukes MacBook. "Hey babe, you got an email from Michael." She said with her eyebrows furrowed and her lips in a frown.
"Really? we haven't talked since we were 16." Beth looked up from the computer screen meeting Lukes blue eyes. "Yeah and he made everyone think you were gay. Remember? You still wear the necklace he gave to you." She almost snapped causing luke to shake his head remembering the last time they talked.
"Michael please! What do you mean by you're leaving?" Luke cried as michael stood at his doorstep with a duffel bag, his car pileup in suitcases and bags.
"Luke listen to me, i-im not good for you. I make your life a living hell! Ashton invited me to go to Boston with him, no body knows where im going. You can't say anything." Michael explained grabbing the blondes hands
"Take me with you ill run away too i don't care i wanna be with you! I love you!" The blonde cried even more causing michael to wipe his tears away.
"I love you too." Michael whispered letting a few tears fall down his face as well. "Then why are you leaving without me!" Luke yelled pulling at his hair.
"Trust me Luke I'm doing what's best for both of us." Michael explained holding his soulmates waist.
"Leaving somebody you love isn't doing whats best!" Luke argued but michael only wiped his own eyes sniffling while shaking his head.
"It is when it betters your future, Luke! You need to put your focus back on school again and get into a good college so you'll have money and you can get a wife and have kids a normal life! Your parents will be proud of you and we both know how you always wanted to make them proud!" Michaels voice cracked as tears ran down his cheeks. He wasn't gonna ruin his best friends future.
"Take this." Michael whispered taking off his silver necklace with a random ring on it that he always wore since they were in 5th grade. Michael placed it over Lukes head before the two met each others eyes. This was probably gonna be the last time they saw each other, the last time the touched each other.
Michael grabbed lukes face before smashing their lips together in one last loved filled kiss. Michael tried to pull away three times already but Luke wouldn't let him he wanted this moment to last forever. Unfortunately it didn't when michael had to lightly push the blonde off.
Both boys had red puffy eyes and tears running down both their cheeks. "I love you so god damn much." Michael mumbled before running to his car. Luke felt his knees become week as he shit his front door sliding to the ground as the love of his life got away.
"Luke!" Beth shouted clapping her hands. The now 28 year old man shook his head "sorry, i zoned out i guess." He awkwardly chuckled. "Are you going to reply?" She asked causing luke to look at his screen.

Im back in town and i was wondering if you would like to meet at the old cafè we used to hangout at? Maybe Friday at noon? Its been a very long time and i think its time for some catching up. I miss you.

"I think i might agree to catch up with him i mean its been 12 years, beth." His wife shook her head looking down. "He was no good for you, he used to make you hate me." Luke furrowed his eyes
"Elizabeth Marie Hemmings, he did not make me hate you, i made myself distant because i thought you didn't feel the same as i did." Luke explained wrapping his arms around her waist. Beth smiled before leaning and up and kissing the blonde.
"Okay you guys can catch up i guess." She playfully sighed as luke smiled down at her before nipping at her neck.
Luke pulled away taking his laptop typing his short response.
'Okay'
"Help me make dinner?" Elizabeth asked kissing the top of lukes head as for he was sitting down. "Well how can i say no to your adorable face?" Luke stood up picking up his wife bridal style taking her to the kitchen as she giggled.
