A/N

So I'm thinking about changing the title of my book because I'm not sure if the current one suits. Let me know in the comments if you have any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated xx

You run to the nearest bathrooms, your entire body burning with humiliation. You place your hands on either side of the sink and lean in to look at yourself in the mirror. In any other circumstance you would just continue to avoid him like you had been doing since you first arrived here. But now that he's promoted you to his 'personal assistant' that plan has turned to dust. You know you can't refuse the promotion, you know that you could really do with the extra money. You aren't saying living with Taehyung is tiresome or anything, as he does well to remember groceries and keep everywhere clean and tidy. But at the same time, you don't want to spend the rest of your life sharing a house with your older brother.

You continue to collect your thoughts as you lean into the sink basin. Your face is so close to the mirror that your forehead is almost touching the cool surface. But your peaceful moment of cooling down is abruptly interrupted, and you hear the squeaking sound of the hinge as the door is pushed open. Somebody has entered the bathroom. You hear the sound of loud high heels tapping purposefully across the tiles.

Although you don't know why, you start to feel slightly uneasy.

"So, we meet again," the familiar voice rings in your ears, and your blood runs cold.

"You" you look away from yourself and fix your glare onto her reflection, your eyes glistening with hatred and disgust.

She laughs bitterly, her expression mirroring yours. "What? I don't even get a hello? You should be friendlier to your co-workers, Y/N,"

You turn around to face her.

"What do you want Hyuna?," you manage to spit out between clenched teeth.

You're slightly taken aback when she steps towards you and grabs a hold of your hair. Tugging roughly, her sharp manicured nails scrape at your scalp as she leans into your ear.

"What do i want? Hmm, let's see," she laughs an empty laugh. "I want you to keep your dirty little hands off my Mr. Jeon. I see the way you look at him, and if you think he's ever going to want a filthy little slut like you, then you're very much mistaken. It's me he wants, so just give up and stop trying already. You just back off, or I'll make your life a living hell just like I did before," she hisses.

Your eyes are stinging, but the anger that rapidly surges throughout you and fills you up overwhelms any other emotions you are feeling right now. You grab her wrist and rip it away from yourself, twisting it. You see the pain flash in her eyes, and you yank her closer to you so that your noses were almost touching.

"You know what, Hyuna? I'm not fucking 15 years old anymore. So I couldn't give a flying fuck about your little threats, because I stopped caring about insignificant bitches like you a long time ago," with that said, you push her to the side and walk out. You are furious. After all the problems shes caused you in the past, she has the nerve to come here and threaten you like that, in your workplace? I guess some people just don't grow out of their highschool labels.

Besides, what was she even talking about? It's not like you want Mr. Jeon's attention anyway, its him thats the flirt. Hes just playing around anyway, it's not like he actually wants you. Hyuna can keep the horny ass boss to herself for all you care.

You push open the double doors that lead to a small balcony overlooking the city. You need some air.

It's currently 6 pm, and once again the sun is beginning to descend. You take in a deep breath as you watch life go on beneath you, the cars on the road so far below you that they almost look like ants. More lights begin to blink on as the sun fades, and you stare out across the many tall skyscrapers and apartment buildings that are magnificently lit up against the orangey-pink backdrop of the sky. You realize that in all the years you've lived here, you never really appreciated how beautiful Seoul was at this time in the evening.

A moment passes, and you feel a presence come and stand beside you. You don't bother to look away from the beautiful scene before you because you already know who it is. There's a moment of peaceful silence as both of you simply enjoy the view and fresh air.

"Beautiful, isn't it?," Jimin breaks the silence, causing you to look over at him. He's standing with his hands in his pockets, still staring out across the horizon. You notice the way his eyes are filled with fondness for the city, the beautiful lights reflecting off his dark chocolate orbs.

"Yeah, it really is," you agree, smiling. All the anger you built up earlier has melted away, and the atmosphere holds only peace as you and your friend stand on the balcony.

"I often come here when I need some fresh air. Or if I need to clear my head," he smiles gently. It is clear for anyone to see that this balcony is one of his favourite places.

"I saw you coming out of the bathroom. You looked pretty angry. Is everything okay?" he asks softly, making eye contact with you. You sigh.

"Hyuna was in there. We had a bit of a disagreement," You look away. He didn't say anything, just nodded in understanding.

"She thinks I have something going on with Mr. Jeon. She wants him for herself; she warned me to stay away from him,"

Jimin laughs lightly and shakes his head. "Stupid girl, she thinks they will ever be together? I pity her."

You hum in agreement. "Jeon Jungkook is a wild one. Can't be tamed," you chuckle.

Jimin's head snaps up abruptly at your words.

"What did you just say?" he breathes.

"I said he was a wild one?" you look at him, confused.

"no, before that. You said his name,"

"Yeah, so?" you don't understand what he is getting at.

"He told you his name,"

"Yeah, so what?" Jimin really isn't making any sense right now. He looks away, but you can see thoughtfulness on his face, along with faint surprise.

"He said he'd never ever tell a girl his name... unless..." he whispers, trailing off.

You don't quite catch what he said.

"Jimin? What are you saying?" you demand. He smiles at you, but it doesn't quite reach his eyes.

"it's nothing. It's just, he normally doesn't tell any girls what his first name is. I suppose it acts as a sort of boundary between him and them to stop anything emotional getting in the way of physical," he dismisses it with a shrug. But there is something in his eyes that tells you he isn't telling you everything. You decide to not ask any further, as it doesn't seem important to you right now considering everything that just happened. Another moment of peaceful silence passes as you realize just how much you appreciate this humble little balcony, this little escape from reality and responsibility.

But then you catch sight of an early shooting star just barely visible in the darkening sky, a tiny and subtle reminder from the heavens that all good things must come to an end.

"We should get back to work now," you sigh. Jimin nods, reluctantly turning away from the breath-taking view and holding open the door for you to walk back into the building.
