A... Promotion?

Today is Friday and it's finally the end of your first week working for JJK. Everything has been going smoothly and you managed to avoid any serious encounters with Hyuna. You've even managed to stay out of the way of Mr. Jeon. For the entire week, any time you see him roaming around the office or coming your way you turn and walk in the opposite direction. It's been pretty easy, as most of the time he generally just stays in his own office. You're certain he's forgotten about you by now, so you feel sure that you won't get any distractions from him. You're starting to wonder if he really is as bad as Jimin and Hoseok made him out to be.

But little do you know, Mr. Jeon hasn't forgotten about you.

Oh no, he hasn't forgotten about you at all.

He notices how you avoid him, and your actions only serve to intrigue him even further. For the first few days, he just let you get away with it. But now a little plan has formulated in his mind, and he is simply waiting for the right time to pounce.

You're busy checking your emails when suddenly you hear the pinging sound that has recently become familiar to you. You look up from your computer to see that you've received a message on your touch screen notice board. It's from Vicky, Mr Jeon's secretary.

"Mr. Jeon would like to see you in his office, asap,"

Your heart begins to pound in your chest. Are you in trouble for something? You thought you'd worked pretty well the whole week and been pretty productive. But what else could he possibly want to discuss?

You get up and go to his office, nerves jangling and stomach twisting into a tight knot. Once you reach the dreaded door to your boss' office, you adjust your clothes before knocking and entering. Alert and anxious, your eyes settle on the figure who is sitting down at his desk. Typing away, he doesn't bother looking up.

"You sent for me, sir?"

He looks up at you from his laptop screen and you feel your knees weaken slightly under his smouldering gaze. You hope he doesn't notice the effect he has on you.

"Ah yes, Y/N. Come, have a seat," he gestures to the chair opposite him.

"I've been watching you this past week. You've worked really efficiently, and have turned up at the correct time every day without fail," he says, running his tongue over his bottom lip. "at my company, I guess you could say I like to think of my employees' first week as sort of like a test to see what they are made of. I've called you here to talk about... a promotion,"

Your mouth drops open in surprise, before curving up into an expression of joy. Jungkook sees your innocent smile and chuckles darkly, earning a confused look from you.

"Kim Y/N, from now on as well as working in the offices you will also be my personal assistant,"

Your heart stops and you stare at the man before you in bewilderment. His facial expression is blank and devoid of any emotion, but those enchanting eyes are brimming with amusement as he waits for your reaction. There is something else burning behind those eyes too, something you weren't all that familiar with in your young and innocent life. But even to someone with as little experience as you, this emotion was unmistakable.

Lust.

You swallow harshly. For the first time since you joined the company, you actually fear for your own safety. Because if this man keeps looking at you like that, you aren't sure how long you can survive under his laser-like gaze.

"We will discuss your increased wages and everything else later on. For now, I actually need you to do something for me," he says in a seductive tone. You hold your breath as all the possibilities of what he might ask you runs through your head. You won't stand for this. Refuse the promotion, Y/N.
