Meanwhile, someone nearby was watching them. She was sitting on a tree limb and peering down at the humans and creatures. When she spotted Margie, a smile spread across her face.

"Well done, Margie. I knew that you could do it," she said, her blue and purple hair blowing in the nice, cool breeze. "That was one heck of a shot that you took a few minutes ago, and because of your quick thoughts and fast actions, you saved a life. As a matter of fact, you saved all of our lives."

She got up and floated to the ground.

"But there is still work to be done. Forlot is broken, and it needs all the help that it can get." She adjusted her golden bracelets on both of her wrists. "You will be a big help, Margie, not only for us, but for Forlot and its people. This is why you were chosen to be the next Monster Protector, and you will not give up on us, no matter what." She tilted her head towards the purple sky. "This is not the end of our story. It is only the beginning." With that, she floated off. "And I will return."
