Hrothgar and the Guardian Guild

Anonymous:Do you mind telling us some fluffy Hrothgar and Guardian headcanons? Hrothgar is beautiful and deserves more love ;^;

He certainly does, doesn't he? T_T Ok, here goes~

Hrothgar and Wulfgar are honorary members of the Guardians, and though they travel under the name Beowulf, they often team up or turn to the Guardians for help or advice

Lynus is the one person Hrothgar can bring himself to open up to and he often sits with Lynus in the tearoom either to talk or read together. Lynus has a very calming aura and he finds himself relaxing whenever he's present because he knows that Lynus will be able to heal anyone at any time. In turn Lynus is quite maternal towards him, ensuring that he's always at his best health and that his mind is peaceful

He often trains with Jhon, the two getting along well as their personalities are similar, and thus they are more aware of what the other is thinking. They are also both struggling with the White Knight syndrome that they are sometimes prone to so often talk to each other about it. They're also rather light-weights when it comes to drinking, and the two of them drinking together has everyone on high alert, not that they know this

Hrothgar really appreciates Axel's protectiveness towards Lynus and his guildmates, and ultimately towards him, too. He knows that Axel isn't reckless and will do whatever it takes to protect and save others, thus no one else will have to go through what he's been through. With Axel's unwavering strength, they'll win any battle. He also knows that if anyone tries to belittle him, Axel will have his back

He finds Tobyn's protectiveness towards Jhon both amusing and heartening. And one time, he's grateful as Tobyn had helped him out of a tight spot with an arrogant drunk by shooting him with an arrow. Something along the lines of he and Jhon being similar and knowing what that "bastard" was trying to do and to tell him immediately if anyone else tries something like that again

Hrothgar greatly admires Hamza for his inner strength. He had been in the exact same situation as he and he found the strength and courage to move on with his life and start another guild. He goes to him often to ask for advice on what to do with a troubling situation or to voice his worries.

He enjoys listening to Lirit's music as he has a very calming voice, yet cheerful as well, allowing him to forget about his worries

Macerio is someone who he sees as a little brother figure, one he teases lightly and humorously, and will step in front of and protect him from the most vile of monsters without hesitation. Macerio even admitted to him that he admires his ability to stand strong and move on with his own life.

Hrothgar finds Magnus an absolute delight to be around; he's very sweet and timid, and someone who he would also protect. Magnus often lets Zanna sleep in his room on the cold nights to keep him company

Although Shen isn't much of a talker, Hrothgar is not at all uneasy around him. His silent presence is somewhat reassuring and he knows that if he asks Shen's help for something, Shen would help, no questions asked

Now Rahas is someone that actually amuses Hrothgar. This flighty emo brat is fun to rile up and that's not a hard thing to do. And it's fun seeing him soften up around Simmons. He can see through his flighty behaviour and see the caring individual underneath, though. And that Rahas sometimes blurts out what he's really thinking by shouting out denials. Hrothgar wishes he could just blurt out what he's feeling sometimes, too

But sometimes he doesn't have to say what's on his mind. Chi-hung seems to know when he's feeling down and will nudge him with his head or drop his head onto his lap, unwilling to let him move until he gets his pats. Chi-hung is also bigger in size and mass than Wulfgar and so Chi-hung is somewhat protective of the both of them, and the two beasts sleep together in front of the fire place

Zeryn does frighten him at times, especially how cheerful he 'coos' over him. It's honestly embarrassing. But he knows that Zeryn would go out of his way to protect him whenever necessary

Topaz is someone he can speak with easily and finds his interest in weapons and treasures intriguing. And Topaz loves hearing stories about his encounters in the first stratum. He's a very easy-going person to talk to and honestly gets so excited with anything in regards to the labyrinth and exploration. Hrothgar can't help but see him as a little brother figure

Now Mahogany is someone that...unnerves Hrothgar to be completely honest. His ability to see images of a person's past and faint from them leaves him uncomfortable. Mahogany hadn't said anything to him directly, thankfully, but Hrothgar gets the feeling that he should have died twice. Mahogany, however, is relatively harmless.
