Anonymous:ON ANOTHER TOPIC, I was wondering how each couple would react to their s/o trying to surprise them with a gift! Mostly Simmons and Rahas because the idea of Rahas trying to surprise Simmons with a present is adorable to me.
Yes, let's focus on the IMPORTANT things, shall we~?
Axel/Lynus – They surprise each other with small gifts all the time so they gracefully receive the gift and give the other a kiss as thanks in return. There's not nervousness or needing to hide. They just hand over the gift and get a thanks in return. Depending on the gift though it might deserve more than a kiss :3
Jhon/Tobyn – Tobyn is not an affectionate person, Jhon knows that, we all know that. But he does have moments where he does something affectionate for Jhon. I mean a gentle, loving moment, not the ones where he tries to beat up the one who he thinks is trying to take advantage of Jhon's friendliness. He would hand over the gift nonchalantly and pretend it's no big deal. But Jhon knows. And he apperciates it nonetheless. He'll snare Tobyn by the wrist and give him a kiss as thanks. Jhon likes to give Tobyn gifts in return also but does it when they're alone so he doesn't embarrassment. Tobyn's reaction is more on the "why would you waste your money on something for me?" kind of thing, but Jhon insists he's not wasting anything~
Shen/Magnus – Shen is a lot more subtle in giving gifts than anyone else of the guild is. He would leave anything he was to give Magnus on his pillow. But he has taken up the habit of tying it around Zanna's collar and letting her be the gift-giver. Magnus blushes darkly each and every time, but he's so incredibly happy and bubbly afterwards. He would go show Lynus and be happy for the rest of the day. So in turn Magnus likes to do the same for Shen; leaving him gifts in places where he frequents a lot. Though he likes to watch from a distance. To Magnus the way Shen's eyes would soften and a small smile on his lips is the best gift of all :3c
Lirit/Macerio – Lirit is very straight forward when it comes to giving gifts. He happily hands them over to Macerio and tease about getting a thank you kiss in return. Macerio blushes up a storm and stutters for a while, saying something about not wasting money on him. He would try to play it off that he isn't embarrassed, but clearly is. He would then hastily place a kiss to Lirit's cheek and scurry off. Macerio's gift-giving is more on the "here it's yours now I gotta go do something important so bye!" side of things. No matter how far he runs though Lirit will always find him eventually~
Simmons/Rahas – Everything that Rahas does for Simmons sorta comes out as a surprise, even to himself sometimes XD Spur of the moment thing like buying something and then debating on whether or not to actually give Simmons the gift, to eventually handing it over in a totall dismissive manner. Simmons is thrilled nonetheless. Smiling a big goofy grin and bounding with extra energy kind of thrilled. He's happy with anything Rahas does, even if it is just a spur of the moment thing. Simmons doesn't have the art of being subtle so her cheerfully walks up to Rahas, hand over his gifts and stands there smiling broadly. Rahas pretends that the gifts are an annoyance, but inwardly he's always surprised that no matter what Simmons always, always gets him something he actually likes and wonders if someone else is involved. He's secretly happy about it, though <3
Hamza/Cedric – Honestly, they are much like Axel/Lynus in this regard. Cedric is a little bit more flamboyant when it comes to giving Hamza a 'thank you' peck though. Imagine him cooing about how it's what he's always wanted and flinging his arms around Hamza's neck in a kiss~
Shiki/Gerald – Neither of Shiki and Gerald are fond of the act of giving gifts. After everything they've been through, the fact that they are now back together is all they need from life now. Shiki wants Gerald to be happy and Gerald wants Shiki to be safe and healthy. Giving each other their time and affection is all the gifts they need from each other~
