CtS and ALEC - SO Either Ill or Code Blue

Same angsty anon as before. Got another feelsy ask. How would the characters of CtS and ALE/C react if their SO was dangerously ill or got injured enough for a major code blue?

For both Cts and ALE/C Crew for the Code Blue part I think the word you're looking for is absolutely devastated T^T

Whoever the pairing, you can imagine their SO standing at the operating doors being held back by guards and medics as they shout their name, screaming at them not to dare thinking of leaving them. Don't you fucking dare! They would then crumble into their teammates' arms and just shake and cry, muttering over and over again that they can't lose them. They can't.

With the CtS Crew they have Lynus to turn to. And Lynus would walk over to the terrified SO and place his hands on either side of their face, pull their head down so he can rest his forehead against theirs and where he can look straight into their eyes and tell them firmly "I'll take care of this. It'll be fine. I won't let him leave you. Ever."

And he meant that with every fibre of his being. When it comes to healing others, the closer Lynus is to them the more powerful his healing becomes. He also becomes more determined because he knows how special this person is and how they have hopes and dreams of their own. And as a medic, their medic, it's his duty to ensure that they live a long and fulfilling life. That's an oath he made to himself. He'd probably collapse from exhaustion afterwards, but his adrenaline and determination would keep him working for hours.

With ALE/C, Isiah isn't as gentle or precious as Lynus, but he's just as stubborn and determined. Especially now that he's part of a guild. A guild that he sees as his. A guild that is his family. He doesn't care if he has to work for 24 hours straight to save a life, he'd do it. All by himself if he has to. Push himself beyond the limit. Even on the brink of exhaustion, he'd keep going. He could collapse later when it was more convenient.

Now, if Lynus was the one who was Code Blue for any reason, Dr Stiles would be the one to heal him. He's not the head doctor for nothing. And the other medics at the hospital adore Lynus so they would go above and beyond for him. Hospital protocols? Insignificant. They don't care what rules they break. Lynus is far more important. Axel would be a complete an utter mess though. Try to push his way into the operating room but with Jhon and Shen holding him back he just crumbles and he sobs into Jhon's chest while the others gather around to attempt to comfort him and each other...

But if Isiah was the one gravely injured...Both Miach and Nitish would need to pool all their strength and knowledge to save him. Nitish is subclassed as a medic while Miach is a full medic at this point. With Isiah nearly flat-lining, those two (especially Nitish because of his substantial spiritual power) would pull a truly miraculous move to save him. Nitish wouldn't be able to do it again, but as long as he saved Isiah's life, then that's enough. Kalan would be such a wreck throughout all of this though. He wouldn't be able to do anything, frozen in shock. He's then start to hyperventilate, shocking the hell out of Zesiro as he had only seen him do this once and that was when he lost his sight. Now it was different. Both Zesiro and Roxbury would try to comfort him and get his to breath. It won't be easy. Kalan finally allowed himself to get close to someone and now they're nearly flat lining. He can't take it...

As for Serious Illness the couples' responses would be pretty much identical – refuse to leave their beloved's side for a moment. Even those who are normally restless and need to move. They would sit at their bedside, holding their hand, watching their face, watching as their chest rises and falls. They would tend to them if they have a fever. Keep the blankets tidy around them. Make sure they get accurate fresh air and they are warm. And they would stay up all hours just watching over them until the worst is over. Until they are over the peak of it. Only when they have been greatly reassured that their beloved is going to be fine will they allow themselves to rest.

Couples in-the-making would feel like they've been punched in the gut to see their potential-SO lying in a bed, unconscious with a fever. They'd feel shaken, scared. No, this can't be right. They're...not that ill, are they? They would then adamantly volunteer to sit by their bedside to watch over them. There is probably not much they can do, but not sitting with them felt so...wrong. They would sit there in silence and watch with barely blinking eyes as their soon-to-be SO sleeps. They'll tell themselves that they'll be ok. It was just a minor illness. Yeah, they'll get over it soon and they'll go back to adventuring together. They just need to rest for a little while. That's all...

And everyone is ok and perfectly fine in the end and are living long healthy and loving lives because I said so D:<
