Harry's POV
The lads and I had reached the office and were waiting for Simon.
He soon came in and greeted us.
"Hello! How are you all? " he asked.
"We're good." we all replied and then took our seats.
"So about the producer and songwriter, I spoke to this girl on Skype the other day and I also heard her demos which she sent us. Well, I'm quite impressed. Her work itself says how much she's passionate about it. " We all nodded and continued listening to him.
"I'm going to personally meet her the next week. I told her that I wanted to see how she worked, not only the demos. "
"Yeah, that makes sense." Liam said.
We all nodded.
"She was also looking for internship. So, if I'm satisfied, then she'll work with you guys and be one of your Music Producers and songwriters." Simon said.
"Do you know where she's from or you know like, her experience of music production and songwriting and stuff?" Louis asked.
Well, that makes sense, I thought.
"Oh yes. About that, she's 17, her name is Diya, she's from India, and not to forget, she's currently studying Music Production and Songwriting at Berklee College of Music, Boston." Simon said.
"Berklee? Then she may be good I guess." I said.
"Yeah you're right." Everyone agreed.
"And boys, another thing."Simon said when we were about to leave.
"You have an interview and a small concert to do in Boston the next week. So you'll be coming back on Saturday and you will be having your flight on Friday. Okay? Don't, by anyway, change the schedule because as soon as you come back, you need to start recording and it can't be delayed. Okay? " Simon said.
"Okay. Don't worry. We'll be there." Liam said.
We all went back to our car and drove to the house.
"I hope the girl Simon was talking about gets to work with us! Simon said she's an Indian and I've heard that Indian food is very good!" Niall said.
Everyone laughed as Liam said,
"Hey! Simon sent me a few demos of hers! Let's hear them."
We all listened to the demos carefully.
After we finished hearing to all of the demos, I said excitedly, "Damn! That was so good! She's got such a good voice!"
"Yeah! And the lyrics, they're so good!" Louis exclaimed.
"Okay, so jokes apart, I really want her to get this. " Niall said.
"Yeah. Absolutely! " Liam said.
She definitely deserves this. I thought to myself. What if she's a Directioner? I just hope she doesn't scream in our faces. I chuckled. Well, I need to pack a bit as we're going to Boston.
"I'm gonna pack my bag. Even if I'm not here, just get something good for dinner. Okay? "I said.
"Of course mate! I'll never compromise on food! " Niall said.
I just shook my head and went up to start packing.
