Chapter 29

Didi's POV

I was at the airport and Harry had come to drop me. But I don't know why he was acting a bit weird. He was acting normal in the morning.
I don't know what happened in just these few hours that he looked a bit tensed.
"Harry? Are you okay?" I asked him.
"Ummm, yeah." he said.
"Are you sure?" I said.
"Yeah, yeah." he said. I know he was hiding something but I didn't ask him anymore.

Harry's POV

"Harry? Are you okay?" Diya asked me.
"Ummm, yeah." I said. I couldn't tell her. At least not now.
"Are you sure?" she asked.
"Yeah, yeah." I said. I know that now is not the right time.
I heard her flight name being called.
"That's my call." she said.
"I'll miss you." I said.
"I'll miss you too Harry. But it's just 3 days." she said.
"Hmmm." I said and kissed her.
"I guess I have to get going. Bye Harry." she said.
"Bye. See ya." I said.
"Harry, Ummm, see, I'm guess something is bothering you. Maybe you don't wanna tell me right now. But if you feel like, you can right now. And if you wanna tell me later, tell me later." she said. I felt guilty after hearing what she said. But I couldn't tell her now.
But I couldn't believe how understanding she was. I mean, maybe, if it was someone else, the person would have been mad at me.
"I'm okay, I really am. Don't worry." I said.
"Okay. Bye Harry. I'll see you soon." she said.
"Bye." I said as she walked away.
But I walked towards her and stopped her.
"What happened Harry-" she was saying but I interrupted her and kissed her.
"Bye. But how am I gonna go 3 days without you?" I said.
"C'mon you've gone like that for about 20 years." she said.
"Hey, why did you ruin the moment?" I said.
"Okay, okay. I'm sorry. But now I really have to go." she said.
"Fine, bye. Call me when you land." I said.
"Yeah, I'll call you. Bye Harry." she said.

I then drove to my flat.
"Did you tell her?" Liam asked me.
"No." I said.
"But why?" Louis said.
"She has this really important thing at Berklee. And I don't want anything else to bother her. She kinda felt that there was something bothering me, you know. But I told her everything was okay." I said.
"But don't you think you should have told her?" Niall asked.
"I have to tell her. But not now. Now is not the right time. Let she come back. And nothing is fixed. So I'll tell her everything when everything is fixed." I said.
"Okay." Liam said.

Didi's POV

I landed in Boston and I saw that Mel was calling me.
"Hey Mel." I said.
"Hey Didi I'm here at the airport." she said.
"You're at the airport?" I said.
"Yeah, you don't need to take a cab. I'm here." she said.
"Okay, I'll be out in a few minutes." I said.
"Okay, bye." she said.
"Bye." I said.
I walked out of the airport and after a few minutes of searching I saw Mel. I ran towards her and hugged her.
"I missed you so much." I said.
"I missed you so much too. We've got so much talking to do. C'mon." she said and we sat in the car.
"So, how are things ?" she asked.
"Yeah, everything's good." I said.
"So, what about you and Harry ha?" she asked.
"He's really so sweet you know. And he's so caring also. But," I said.
"But what?" she said.
"So last to last night, Harry and the other guys slept at Jeff's place. The next morning Harry was totally normal. After that, they went back to their flat. And when Harry came to drop me at the airport he was acting weird. I mean, he wanted to say something, but he couldn't. And he looked kinda worried." I said.
"I'm sure everything's okay. Maybe it's just not important. That's why he didn't tell you." Mel said.
"But I could easily tell that he wanted to say something but couldn't. I'll ask him later maybe. Or when I go back to London." I said.
"Hmmm. Don't worry. I'm sure everything's fine." she said.
"I hope so." I said.

"I kinda miss this place you know." I said.
"But you need to go back in 3 days right?" she said.
"Yeah, but London is nice too." I said.

We walked into her room and I saw Sandy and Nick and hugged them.
"I missed you guys so much. I'm sorry I didn't call much. I really am." I said.
"We missed you too. But it's okay. We forgive you for not calling us. We know you were busy with your work and yeah, not to forget, your new boyfriend." Nick said and I felt my cheeks heating up.
"Oh yeah, is he treating you well? If not, he'll have to face me first." Sandy said.
"Don't worry about that. He's very sweet." I said.
"Okay, but we need to catch up. It's been so long." Mel said.
"Yeah, so, what do you guys wanna do?" Sandy asked.
"Let's just hangout at my place you know." Nick said.
"Yeah, I guess we can do that." I said.
Then we drove to Nick's place.

"So how's working with One Direction?" Sandy asked.
"It's really fun. They're amazing. And guess what?" I said.
"What?" Mel said.
"What? Tell me what?" Nick said.
"I got to work with Shawn Mendes!" I said.
"Oh my God! Wow!" Mel said.
"That's great!" Nick said.
"Yeah. Oh, by the way, I need to call Harry. I'll be back in a sec." I said and took out my phone from my bag.
I called him twice but he didn't pick up the phone. Now that, made me a bit more worried than I was.
"Hey, you okay?" Sandy asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I said.
"C'mon, tell us what happened." Nick asked.
"Okay, Ummm, it's just that Harry is acting a bit weird. I mean, I know he wants to say something, but he just can't. And he was looking a bit tensed when he came to drop me at the airport. And now he didn't pick up the phone. So, that makes me a bit more worried. But I guess I'm thinking too much." I said.
"Yeah, don't think too much." Nick said.
"Yeah, if it's important, he'd have told you. But maybe it's not that of a big deal, so he didn't." Sandy said.
"I guess so. Anyways, I'm -" I was gonna say something until I heard my phone ringing.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hey Diya, Simon here." he said.
"Oh, hello sir. How are you?" I said.
"I'm good. Well, I wanted to know if you can come back here a day earlier than you had planned." he said.
"Ummm, I guess I can Sir." I said.
"That's great. Coz I need to talk to you about something." he said.
"No problem sir. But, what's it about sir?" I said.
"I guess it's better if we had a conversation in person." he said.
"Okay, but, Ummm, is it something I should worry about?" I asked.
"Oh no. Not at all. There's nothing to worry about." he said.
"Oh, okay." I said.
"So, I'll see you the day after tomorrow?" he said.
"Yes sir." I said.
"Okay, bye." he said.
"Bye." I said.
"Who was it?" Mel asked.
"It was Simon." I said.
"What did he say?" Nick asked.
"He asked if I could fly back a day earlier than planned. And, I can't say no to him. He said he wanted to talk about something important. And then I asked him if it was something I should worry about. But he said that there was nothing to worry about. So yeah, that's it." I said.
"Hmmm, so what do you think he has to talk about?" Sandy asked.
"Honestly, I have no idea." I said.
"Hmmm." Sandy said.

After sometime of chatting, we went to KFC. After that, I went to Mel's place since I was staying there itself.
