Didi's POV
I couldn't wait to tell my friends this news! It was 1.45 pm now and I had to reach Nandos in 15 minutes.
I quickly grabbed my purse and walked to Nandos. It was quite near so, why not?
I reached Nandos and tried to find my friends. I saw Sandy waving at me and walked to their table.
"Hey guys! " I exclaimed.
"Hey Didi! You look quite happy today. Any specific reason? Like, you got a date or something?" Sandy asked.
"Oh no! It's far better than that! "I said.
"Then tell us! Why do you have to act like a detective now? " Mel said annoyed.
"Okay okay. So, the thing is, " I said.
"C'mon tell us!" Nick exclaimed.
"Okay. So, as I said, I had some urgent work and couldn't hangout with you guys, well at that time I got a call from Syco records. At first, I thought it was a prank or something. But then I frankly asked the guy speaking to me and he said that they had already sent me emails saying that they wanted to know my Skype username. But me, I didn't even check the emails. I then thought that this may be true you know. So then, I checked my email. There were 3 emails they had sent me. I then was kinda relieved and sent them my Skype username. I was then so surprised, I spoke to the one and only Simon Cowell! He said that he was impressed by my work and wanted to meet me and told me to come to London next weekend! I have a flight on Friday to London! " I said in one go. Today, earlier, I had got an email from them telling me that I had a flight at 9pm on Friday. They sent me the ticket and stuff through internet itself. Now, all I needed was to pack my bag and make the most out of this. This was a big opportunity and I couldn't leave it!
They all got up from their chairs and hugged me.
"I'm so proud of you Didi" Sandy said.
"I knew you would make it! " Nick said.
"I told you not to worry stupid! It's impossible to not like you and your work! "Mel said.
I was so happy and fortunate. I had these beautiful friends who always supported me and I was given such a big chance to show my talent. I definitely won't let it go!
