Chapter 38

Harry's POV

I woke up and saw that it was 10 am. I looked at Diya and she was sleeping so peacefully.
"You're so beautiful love." I whispered.

I got up from my bed and went to the washroom.
I then decided to order breakfast. I wish I was at home, so I could make breakfast for her. But I'm not, so, yeah.
I called up room service and ordered Pancakes and Hash Browns and of course tea, coz I know she loves tea.

After a few minutes I saw Diya waking up.
"Good morning beautiful." I said and kissed her.
"Good morning Harry." she said.
"What's the time?"
"It's 10:15" I said.
"What? How did I wake up so late? I'm usually up by 8 or something." she said.
"It's okay love." I said.
"By the way, I ordered breakfast." I said and I heard the bell ring.
"There it is." I said and opened the door.
"Thank you so much." I said to the guy who brought the breakfast.
"You're welcome sir." he said and I closed the door.

I sat next to Diya and she said,
"Thank you so much Harry I love pancakes!"

As we were eating, I asked her,
"So, what do you wanna do today, before the date?"
"I really didn't think about that." she said.
"Ummm, what if we both just drive around and go to places we can't even pronounce?" I said.
"Yeah, I love going to places we can't even pronounce, it's perfect. But, I think you should spend the day with the guys." she said.
"It's okay baby I can spend the day with you." I said.
"Harry, I really can't imagine you guys going on a hiatus. I can't imagine you guys meeting, just once in 7 months or something. So you go and spend time with them. And I'll catch up with Mel and I've gotta speak to Shanaya about her wedding and -" she was saying but I asked her,
"Who is Shanaya?"
"Oh I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you. She's my cousin and her wedding is on the 25th of January and I have to go coz mom and dad can't make it." she said.
"Oh, okay." I said.
"So yeah, I was saying, that, it's okay if you spend time with the guys. Anyways we have a date tonight right? So it's okay." she said.
"Okay, if you say so." I said.

I then got ready and went to Louis' room.
"Hey Harry." Louis said.
"Hey Louis." I said.

Didi's POV

I came out from the shower and saw that Mel had texted me.

From: Mel
He's in love.

What was she saying?

To: Mel
What are you trying to say Mel?

From: Mel
I'm video calling you. Wait.

I picked up the video call and she said,
"Heyyyyyy!!!!"
"What did you text me Mel?" I asked her.
"Oh c'mon, you know what I meant." she said.
"No I don't." I said even though I kinda knew what she meant.
"You don't? Then you're a fool. But don't worry, I'll make you see what you can't. I mean, I don't think you ever noticed the way Harry looks at you. And there's only one thing I can see in his eyes, and that is love." she said.
"You, you think so?" I said.
"I don't think, but actually know it." she said.
"How do you know it?" I asked her.
"I told you, just the way he looks at you. Yesterday, when I spoke to you guys, I noticed how he looked at you, how he spoke to you. And you know what?" she said.
"What?" I replied.
"I don't even need to ask you how you feel." she said.
"What do you mean?" I asked her.
"I mean, you don't need to tell me how you feel. I know it, you look so in love." she said.
"How do you know that?" I asked her.
"You can hear it in the silence, You can feel it on the way home, You can see it with the lights out, You are in love, true love." She said.
"Okay, okay, I got what you're saying, now stop communicating with me through lyrics." I said.
"Okay, okay." she said.
"I think, I... Ummm... I.. Am.. Falling in... love with him. But, isn't it too early to say anything?" I said.
"When it feels right, one must not care about it being too early or too late." she said.
"I guess you're right Mel. And you know what? Thanks for talking to me. I really needed it." I said.
"That's what best friends are for!" she said.
"Hey, I forgot to tell you. Harry's taking me on a date tonight." I said.
"OMG I wish I was there!" she said.
"I wish you were here too." I said.
"Do you know where he's taking you?" she asked.
"No, I don't." I said.
"Awww, okay." she said.
"Yeah? Okay, I'm coming." I heard Mel saying to someone from the screen.
"Hey, I guess I've gotta go. I'll talk to you later?" she said.
"Yeah. No problem. I'll talk to you later. Bye Mel." I said.
"Bye." she said.

Harry's POV

"So, you're taking Diya on a date tonight. Where are you going?" Louis asked me.
"I'm gonna take her to watch Grease, and then I'll take her for dinner." I said.
"You love her don't you?" Louis said.
"Ummm, ummmm, yeah. But I think it'll be too early to tell her. I don't want her to freak out." I said.
"She won't freak out. And it's never too late or early." Louis said.
"Hmmm. I guess you're right." I said.

Yeah, I knew this was love. I couldn't see her with anyone else not because I was obsessive or over protective, not just because I was jealous. But because I was scared to lose her.
