Sharon and Lori left the room to do vocal checks and Stevie was freaking out---venting to Karen.

"Stevie, try not to worry about it," Karen urged.

"Yeah, but this is huge. What do we do?"

"We can't do anything. You just have to hope for the best. All we can do is try and make Lindsey stay here."

"Hey, that isn't a bad idea," Stevie raised her head from her hand. "I know he isn't busy and I know he'll forget about the lessons anyway, maybe I can get him to tour with me."

"I don't know, it's an idea," Karen placed her hands on her hips.

"Well, it's a great idea."

They heard a knock on the door.

Karen opened it and all the hair and makeup people were there.

"I'll leave you. We can talk about it later," Karen assured.

"Okay," Stevie turned to her hair stylist to let them know what they were doing.

By eight at night, Stevie was done with sound check and hair and makeup.

Lindsey eventually found his way to Stevie's room and he stayed with her until she was about to walk out on stage.

"Ya ready?" he asked smiling at her.

"Nope!" she shook her head as she pounded her shot of tequila.

He chuckled. "I think you're gonna be fine."

"I probably will be fine but you know how I get, right before," she placed a hand on her hip.

"Honey, I know that," he placed his hands on her shoulders as he chuckled. "Ya gotta relax because, you look stunning, as always,"

Stevie blushed.

"You're gonna charm the crowd, like always and then you getta reward for being so successful," he smiled smuggly.

Stevie chuckled. "We'll see. Thought you were leaving tonight?" she patted his shoulder.

"I am, but my plane doesn't leave till midnight and I'd like to do you before I go."

"Could you lower your voice?" she laughed.

"We're alone and the door is shut."

"Lindsey, you and I both know these walls are thinner than all hell," she paused. "Think hard."

"Oh yeah... that was pretty hot for a dressing room," he smiled.

"It was very... very... erotic, but we never did that again and we never will do it again before a show, in a dressing room." Stevie started to become flush from that memory. "Hot flash," she started to fan herself.

"Here," Lindsey grabbed the hand held mirror and started fanning her.

"Thanks."

Karen knocked on the door and yelled. "Stevie, you have ten minutes."

"Thank you!" Stevie shouted back. "Gimme another shot!" she demanded.

"Nope," Lindsey moved the bottle. "We both know you don't need it. Take a deep breath."

Stevie does so and fell into his arms. "Thank you for being here."

"Anytime, angel," he kissed the top of her head.

"You got me!" Stevie growled a little.

"What?" he laughed.

"After the show- hotel then after party."
