Lucy and Lindsey eventually got to the party, but it was starting to die down.
Lucy got there first and she entered not saying a word to anyone. She went in to find Elijah so they could go home. He'd not mention the fact that he knew who her father was because, technically he had found out too.
"Hey, there you are," Elijah said holding his arms out for her.
"Yeah, I'm here," she wrapped her arms around his middle, pressing the side of her head into his chest. "I was with my dad. But I want to go home, now."
"Okay. Let's go," he said, prying her off so they could start walking. "Do you want to say bye to your mom?" he asked since Stevie had been pretty quiet.
"I don't feel like talking to anyone. I'll see her tomorrow. After all, we have two more days here and then we can go home, home."
"Alright."
As they walked out, she said bye to several people and that was because, they were saying bye to her. It would be rude if she didn't respond.
Stevie didn't say anything and that was because, she knew her daughter was pretty upset.
By the time everyone is gone and the only ones left were; Sharon, Lori, Karen and Stevie- herself. Lindsey arrived and he was going to get Stevie. He walked in through the gates and into the hall.
Stevie was stunned to even see him because, she thought he'd have been on a plane to California already.
When he walked in his eyes fell, immediately on to Stevie and she smiled gently. Not knowing if he'd yell at her, disown her, or what.
"Hi," she said softly.
"Hey," he said in an interesting tone. It was a mix of emotions.
"I thought you'd be gone."
"Well, I thought I'd tell you, Lucy and I talked for a long time."
"Good," she nodded. "I'm glad."
"She asked me about why we separated and I told her, for many reasons. She asked, how we got on drugs and I told her. She asked, if that was the only conflict and I told her, no. I didn't tell her about the other things."
"Okay," she said, biting on her bottom lip to try and keep her tears at bay.
"I didn't know what you would have wanted to keep quiet, so I told her as far as the drugs went."
She nodded. "Thank you," she said, now as the tears began to fall. "If she wants to know we can tell her other stuff."
Lindsey nodded. "Where'd she go?" he asked.
"She went back to the hotel. She probably doesn't want to talk to me and I don't blame her," she put her head down.
He nodded again, tears filling his eyes because, it was all becoming reality. Looking at his lover just made it clear. "Stevie, I love you."
She looked up at him and his eyes were shut.
He didn't want his tears to fall. "I love you, too. Though you probably hate me right now."
"I don't hate you, Steph. I'm upset, but I won't be for forever," he took a step forward. "As I said, before, we just need time and now I think that would be even better."
"I'm sorry, Lindsey," she said as her tears fell down her face.
"Come here," he whispered as he pulled her into himself. He hugged her tightly and she practically melted into him. He kissed her shoulder and then let her go. "Do you want me to take you home?" he asked.
