Lindsey's stomach kept churning over and over. He didn't know what he was supposed to expect and he didn't know what he was supposed to do with his daughter and son in-law. They were just there, they had gone outside, to get some air while he was hearing a panic. He only knew that the hospital had something to do with Stevie otherwise, Karen wouldn't have been so panicked.

"Lindsey?" Karen said into the phone.

"Yeah, I'm on my way," he paused. "What do I do with the kids?"

"Bring them or Lucy will stress more and she doesn't need that. Just come and please hurry," she ordered. "Don't tell them where you're going either."

"'Kay," he obliged at the idea. He was already scared and he didn't wanna freak his daughter out. "I'll see you soon," he hung up before getting a reply. He made his way outside and met with his daughter.

"Everything alright, dad?" Lucy asked, looking at his off expression.

"I don't know, let's go please," he ushered her in front of him as he moved quickly.

...

Pulling up to the emergency entrance, the trio climbed down from the car and left the car for valet to take care off.

As time was flying, Lucy's heart rate was beginning to pick up from her nerves she had no idea what was to be said, but she had a feeling it had to do with somebody important. She had a feeling of who it could be but she didn't want to think s hard before she jinxed it.

Karen soon met the group in the lobby before Lindsey could make it to the receptionist's desk.

"What happened?" he asked in a big panic. He was really worried.

"Okay, they still don't know how serious it was, but Stevie had a heart attack. They've been with her for a good hour and they are working s strenuously," she replied. She hated saying it in front of Lucy, but she just happened to be there.

"Oh my God," he turned to kind of grab his daughter.

Lucy had already started crying. She hated everything she was hearing.

"I was calling you and you didn't answer," Karen also added once more.

"I know, I'm sorry," he was mentally kicking himself for that. Now he was praying it wasn't that serious. "Do you know how it happened?"

She kind of shrugged "We were at Margi's and she had a glass of wine and we were working on the clothes and she was telling me her arm was hurting her. Margi was measuring her and she told me it hurt when she put it out. Then she fell out. It was like she couldn't breathe and she was struggling to talk."

"Please stop," Lucy said after a minute. She then walked away and into Elijah's arms.

Elijah kind of gave indication that they were going outside.

Lindsey nodded and once they left, he turned back to Karen. "We called the paramedics and then they said she was having heart attack and they rushed her here. They've been with her ever since."

"Okay..." he kind of sighed in discomfort. He didn't know what to think, much less what to say. How was he supposed to answer? his wife had a heart attack. She was healthy as a horse in his eyes and she always assured she was fine.

After some time, Lindsey had gone to see his daughter who was seated on a bench outside with Elijah.

She was still crying and she made her way back to her father.

From then on, they stayed consoling each other.

"Daddy, I'm really scared," she gasped.

"I know, honey," he kissed the top of her head as he gave her a gentle squeeze.
