Nowa

"Good maybe now you could stop acting like a kid," He spoke.

I got irritated when he told me the forbidden word, I hated that word soo much since I hated that he still looked at me that way. Even thought I hated his guts but still I can't say that I loathe him.

I have always sensed that problem in me and that problem was that I never hated people who hated me, I always thought of them as people who envied what I have but now, I can sense his hate and I wanted to know the reason.

"I won't get hurt trust me," I sarcastically stated since I knew he never cared about hurting me because it was something that came naturally to him.

"Will I won't risk it, Sweetheart," He stated pinching my cheeks as if I was 7 years old.

"You really don't want that hand to be attached to your body anymore, don't you!," I threatened as if he was waiting for my threat, he moved his hand immediately.

"Okay here is the deal I am willing to make, I will find a country for you and your sister to settle in and you won't be separated and I will give you a paycheck every month," He paused. "So is it a deal ?"

I should have been shocked by his offer, I guess, but I had been through too much to be surprised by anything anymore. Especially as far as he was concerned.

The fact that he wanted to give me a deal just so I can sign the papers and leave didn't make sense since he could easily blackmail me and I would have signed the divorce paper just like I signed my marriage papers but truthfully speaking, I don't think it was about what he had to do, I think of it as a more of a paying back but I was curios to find, why...

I chook my head.

He groaned. "What is it you want more ?"

"The city we will settle in, I wanted it to be a Muslim country" I demanded.

"Why is that ?" He shrugged at my request.

"I miss the prayer's voice everyday, ever since I came here and I can't imagine living in a country were there isn't any," I explained.

I knew that Ghaith wouldn't tell me why he married me but I was too smart to fall for his stupid reasons of not telling me. To be honest, I hated to carry another misery and if he was willing to make my life easier and not give me another load of misery, why the heck would I say no.

"Fine," He agreed. "Deal ?"

I nodded "Deal, but what is my guarantee that you will give me a pay check ?" I asked.

I knew better than to trust Ghaith, he was like a box with many sides and every time I get to see a new character of him.

"No guarantee, you have to trust me on that,"

"I don't," I almost chuckled at the fact that he thought I was too naive to trust him.

"Well then learn to, not my problem really" He spoke.

"Why do you always keep on irritating me ?" I asked in between my gritted teeth.

"Because it is too easy," He spoke.

I had not been surprised by Ghaith's words, nor was I surprised that he had slept in the couch that he took further away from the bed.

It didn't take long for him to fall asleep, and I could hear him snore softly from his coach. He still had the blanket that I was sleeping with the other night wrapped around him. He had his arms tightly crossed over his chest. A light frown was gracing his features.
